Titans Return/Combiner wars discoveries

Anybody found things undocumented about TR/CW? I just got TR Fort Max today and found out he can hold legends "spy tablets" in his chest window. Not sure if it's been shown off before but I thought it was interesting.

Anyone else find any secrets? :-?

(All be adding edits when ever some says they found an undocumented feature, you'll be credited with your username. I'll also be fixing mistakes in the edits.)

EDIT 1: The gun has to be removed from the chest window to work, it almost closes but just narrowly can't. Stripes works best, with Rewind being the tightest fit.

There are several more in the Things your Transformers can do, but never realised thread :) Like how to turn Blurr into a walking gun emplacement.

I took a look at that thread earlier and it looked interesting. My goal with this one is so any sort of undocumented features can be shared easily, and kept in one spot so anyone can quickly scan it and test it for themselves.

I wish that thread was also stickied.

The weird pegs that seem to be on Blaster's back for no reason? Yeah, you can pull the ramps off of the platforms in base mode and attach them there. Why you'd want to, I have no clue, but you can. Note that they attach using the opposite end than the one where they attach to the platforms.

Also in boom box mode, you can attach headphones and several USB plugs into him. There's also an AC jack, but unlike the USB and headphone jacks, it's not sized properly to allow any AC cord I know of to attach. Should go without saying, this is just for show, and none of the things you plug in serve any actual function.

I noticed that when I got him and really lurched me over the edge of just liking him to absolutely loving him. He become the centerpiece of my TR display (until I make space for Fort Max). I also realized the back ramp connections are connecting to the front door on Fort Max.

I wondered if it might not have been for connecting to Fort Max somehow, or other leaders' base modes, but I don't have any of those.

Apparently there's an undocumented combined jet mode with Mindwipe and Ape Face where in Apeface's little monkey jet combines with Mindwipe's body to for a Bat-Jet.

As soon as I get my hands on Mindwipe I'll try it out.

I wish that thread was also stickied.

And I wish people would use the Suggestions thread so I can see suggestions and act on them (if it's in my power)

Most TR figures have ways to arrange their weapons so that their headmaster can ride in the weapon. Well, while it's not in the (increasingly terrible) instructions, Galvatron is no exception. Here's his little guy riding in his cannon.

On a side note, wow, Blaster's head looks really sinister when not covered by his helmet.

Not sure if this was posted somewhere else before but most TR weapons with 5mm pegs have holes in the legs that are the same size as pegs for Titan masters to stand on. Surprisingly PMOP has one of those holes on his gun from UM.

Yeah, it's a little tenuous (as fan modes often are) but there are absolutely a few ways you can make a jet out of this pair. I'm looking at one now. No pics at the moment. Someone put up a video let me see if I can find it.

Not exactly the same as how I did it, but that's okay, it's a fan mode, no one's right or wrong, just having fun.

A few cool things I will add here that have been shown elsewhere already:

You can use Galvatron's big gun on the grand Galvatron combiner and it seems really nice, in good scale.

Also, I just adore how there are pegs in the back of Hound (and swindle) where you can plug his gun so it looks like his over the shoulder gun he characteristically has.

At least with my figures, it works much better on Hound than on Swindle. I think I did some damage to my Swindle getting that gun in there. No such problem with Hound, though for something that was clearly intended as a feature, it's still harder to plug in than it should be.

Not all Swindles have that feature, sadly. That tweak was a last-minute addition for the Hound retool, and later releases of Swindle benefited from it too.

Really? I picked up my swindle from a Toysrus in December and it has the necessary tooling for the Hound shoulder mount.

My Swindle is definitely the "tweaked" variation, but it just doesn't work well.
