Titans Return VS Combiner Wars

Too soon?

OK, but Titans Return Deluxe and Voyager class give an idea in my opinion.

Single models details: Titans Return wins (the CW have the gestalt joint limit), but... plastic quality... Combiner Wars Superwins IMHO.

I think into Combiner Wars line we have a good steady quality level; into Titans Return we have good plastic in Blurr/Brainstorm, Hardhead and Alpha Trion, but a questionable grade for example in Galvatron (a bit in Sentinel Prime/Astrotrain), Highbrow (I adore that character^^), Skullsmasher and Scourge.

A comparison in hand between models of the two lines can clarify this thought.

At the moment for Titans Return: great models to watch on the shelfs, great playability, great number of characters (All Hail Sixshot^^), but unexpected plastic levity for some released models.

The new Headmasters line is long yet and I hope only in a more changeless quality, because I adore this super line.^^

TR seems to have much better distribution than CW ever did. Also prices on deluxes seem to have come back down to a slightly more sane price with TR.

plastic quality... Combiner Wars Superwins IMHO.

Mostly agree, but the Sky Lynx limbs I recently got at Marshalls have lower quality plastic than my wave 1 TR deluxes, save maybe Skullcruncher. Then wave 2 TR was back to bad plastic again.

UK Combiner Wars typical Price : £16.99 (oft reduced to around £10.99)
UK Titan Returns typical price : £19.99 (sometimes reduced to £16.99)

Oh dear.

Or to put it another way as with Galaxy Force it might actually be cheaper to buy Japanese ones again. Or if not cheaper at least a better comparison in bang for your buck (Brexit-pound)
