by WreckerJack
A model kit bust of Megatron has been listed for 104.98 USD on Aliexpress. This awesome bust must be assembled from thin metal pieces attached to metal sheets, just like the Metal Earth Transformers products we have gotten in the past. However, this one is not from Metal Earth, but from Chinese company MU, instead, and is of Megatron in the upcoming film Transformers: The Last Knight. We have posted the following pictures so you can have a full 360 view of its stunning detail.

Would you be up to building him yourself from metal sheets?

Here is a review of a previous model that looks to be as complex as this one:

Mine is not perfect but it is good enough. Broke some tabs and the parts did not line up the way I think they should and that's why I am giving it a 4 out 5. I had fun time with the challenge and took me around 14 hours total to complete 99% of it. The 1% are the broke tabs and parts I could not reach but it still looks good. I had to use glue because the tabs broke and to hold one of the pieces in.

Good news for any German fans who would like to see the real vehicles used in Transformers the Last Knight. You can currently find Drift and Hound at the Mercedes Benz Museum at Stuttgart, Germany. The instagram page where the image was found only describes Drift (who is a Mercedes in the film) but we can clearly see Hound in the back, who is also a Mercedes vehicle.

JADA Diecast 1:24 Scale Cars from Transformers: The Last Knight Revealed

PostPosted: Sat May 27, 2017 1:00 pm
by william-james88
While some of these were at toyfair, only Optimus Prime could be officially revealed due to the wait for licencing to be finalized. Well, the wait is over, at least for Bumblebee, Crosshairs and Barricade. These are non transforming 1:24 scale cars, in diecast, part of the same Metals Die Cast series you may have seen for other blockbuster films, like Batman V Superman. So, unlike the Simba Smoby diecast products, these should see distribution in North America. These are currently available for ordering at paulmartstore, where they retail for $28.99.

They're pretty neat, and they're Alternator-sized! I'm not that thrilled with the RPM/Speed Stars method of having the robot mode underneath, but o well. And yet again, Barricade is unlicensed. Ford must have been really playing hardball.

They've very nice and shiny. If I bought these I'd probably buy high-accuracy non-transforming figures of each character where possible to pose next to each car.
