So this one has jet packs and a chromed out man booty. I really wish these stupid statues would be gone already.

I agree with you completely. I really like the look of these statues, but I would rather take a posable action figure, or better yet, a TRANSFORMABLE posable figure to mess around with than a statue. Thank you for the effort XM Studios, but I’ll pass >:oP

From the same Weibo user 爆料人小明, we also have some images of the XM Studios Generation 1 - as in their own take on the Generation 1 characters - collectible statues for Megatron, Optimus Prime and Starscream, though the first is the most prominent as the last revealed. The images mirrored below are best viewed with an accompaniment of the video from Radd Titan, who was also present at the same event, the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2018.

Featured in both are the alternative right arm, and a hand with an Energon mace, plus a general look at various angles and details of the statue. Take a look below, and let us know what you think!

That very "organic" looking Megatron look like Beast Wars Megatron doing a cosplay of his G1 ancestor. Can't decide if it's good or bad.

I think I'd be able to overlook the face if he didn't have such squinty eyes. There's a weird uncanny valley thing going on with the face without big glowing eyes.

I don’t know, I’m gonna go with I actually like this thing. I remember in 1990 Marvel Comics issue #70 when Megatron and Ratchet returned as this merged zombie thing and can remember really appreciating the humanoid, organic stylized design by Andrew Wildman. This kind of reminds me of that. Not sure what the price points on these particular ones are, but if it’s anywhere near what Sideshow and Prime 1 are asking and they’re in your budget then you have options. You could spring for this humanoidish iteration or the more traditional interpretation offered by the other companies. I say the more options for us fans and collectors the better. It seems like even Harry Potter’s got us beat on merchandising and Transformers has about a 14 year headstart on that Wizard. :BOT:

This is how Megatron should have looked in the live action movies. I do hope someone makes a genuine Transformers movie some day, with characters which actually look G1 like this. Designs like this piss all over the Bayformers.

It all depend on tastes, as usual. Such a design for the live action movies could gave worked, but I'd bet my left AND right nut that "fans" would still have complained as much anyway.

Beside, be thankful for the Bayverse. It made the designers think outside the box and create toys with thecniques that were revolutionary. Not counting all the fans it brought. New ones and old ones that came back such as myself.

XM Studios Reveals Most Badass Statue of Bumblebee and Spike

I never expected to see the day where Spike in an Exo Suit could look this cool. But XM Studios proved me wrong with this brand new statue of Bumblebee and Spike. This is of course a reference to their partnership in the 86 film but with a lot of more realistic detail. This statue also comes with a Beetle car (model) and the robot eyes light up. You can even switch out with a visor. This statue is made of porcelain. We do not know the price but pre-orders will be up November 6th. Below you will see images we found the site Speculative Fiction. This is said to be in the 1/10th scale.

Not to be that guy, but unless Ryan has changed his views, I dont think having "badass" in the news title is a good choice.

Bee's default face look derpy as hell. Plus that car is superfluous. However, remove the car and add that vizor face, and BAM! You get one amazing and bad-ass display piece!

I'm not one for statues or a fan of G1 Bumblebee and Spike but it does look great. I think not giving Spike his usual David Hasselhoff hairstyle made him look more badass.

I usually prefer the visor face anyway, but in this case it really clinches the "bad-ass"-ness of the scene. It makes for a truly menacing, robotic look, rather than a "hey, I wanted the last Kit Kat!"-type of look.

Spikes armor is actually my favorite thing about this. Bumblebee just kind of rubs me wrong. I guess it's because when I think G1 bee, I think of a cheery optimistic type, not a 1990's GRRR face

Spike is easily the best part of this.

Below you will find a description and images of the new Rodimus prime statue from XM Studios. The statue is said to be in 1/10th scale and while they say it is Rodimus Prime, it being this stylized makes it hard to see why it wouldn't simply be Hot Rod. Especially when the alternate vehicle they show is Hot Rod's and not Rodimus'.
This is available for preorder for a bit less than the $2000 mark.

Thankfully no. Rodimus Prime will never have his followers take a trip with him into the sun, or have himself chopped up and made into an alligator.
