Yes, still my favourite classics Prime. And the one I always use for any scene or scale. I have no use for a deluxe prime, and I have no use for a leader prime as well, not when we have the MP around.

Also, we did have a recent deluxe Optimus with the RID one (which of course was not CHUG design, I get that)

I love Classics Optimus Prime too. My pick for the best version in my collection is the Transformers Cloud release, though the one from the Evolution 2-pack (Age of Extinction) comes VERY close. If only that release had cartoon blue eyes instead of toy yellow. That said, even with the Cloud version, I have to give it the wind vane from the Evolution 2-pack version and the smoke stacks from the Classics/Henkei version to get the look I really want. (The gun and axe from Thrilling 30 Orion Pax round things out for accessories.) The Classics version of Prime seems to keep getting released even more than 10 years later, but no version is really "perfect" in my eyes. I kind of want Hasbro/Takara to take one more crack at it under my strict supervision so I can have just ONE definitive Classics mold Optimus Prime and sell off all the others finally, lol!

Here! Here! I to still view this mold as my go-to Prime!

Edit: Didn't mean to leave you out Wolfy! Cheers to Classics Prime! :-D

I think you mean to say that the truck modes of MP-01 and 2006 Deluxe Classics Optimus Prime put Hybrid Style Convoy to shame, ne?

Not really. Hybrid is so bad, that even the MP-01 and Classic deluxe, ones that have infamous bad truck mode, are ashamed of it. Hybrid flaunt his diecast with pride because he's so "premium", all while ignoring the others who are red with shame.

Kanrabat, is English your second language? I ask because you seem to be Quebequois? I'm just trying to be helpful, but the way you worded it before, for English speakers, would tell us that you think the parties A putting party B to shame do so because they are superior, not that the inferiority of party B makes parties A feel shame, even if that is empathetic embarrassment. :)

Yeah, my second language is english, first one being french. No matter, all 3 of them are the TRUCKS OF SHAME.

Only MP-01 is forgiven for his kick-ass bot mode.

Classic Voyager Optimus is nice, but not ultimate. The main reason being the goddamn arms kibble. I even traded my Henkei version that I almost paid 100$ for.

However, I really, REALLY love the version that came with Megatron in the Platinum 2 pack. Sure, the clear blue panels make for a weird-ass truck, but it's different. Plus, it make the arms kibble look like energon shields inseal of pointless kibble and I like that. Also, having a "fire rage" Megatron is super nice and way more interesting than the G1 colored Henkei (that I also traded away).

I really, really love that set. And having bought it for around 50 CANADIAN dollars make me love it even more.

Especially when that purchase was made 12 years ago.

Well, I had my fair share of buying things just in time.

Like the YOTS Omega Supreme, bought on sale at BBTS for 100$US plus 20$US of shipping. Miraculously no custom fees. And it was at the time when 1$CAN was worth equal or MORE than 1$US.

Now if one want a YOTS Omega Supreme on Ebay, it's 215$US at the cheapest plus 80$ of shipping... and the single other listing is 350$US plus 20$ of shipping.
Nothing on Mandrake.

I also found the missing missile so yay!

I hesitated to get the Snake Optimus released in same time when it was on sale on BBts in same time.
I'm playing want-regret-want-regret with him each time I see a good opportunity. I still have the ebay scout on him and each time there's a good opportunity, I look closely the paint apps and such and ends 'nah, do not want'.
But I still sometimes want it. Strange.

Your signature, which explains that you are a non-native speaker of English, as well as your location, listed as "France" in your profile to the side of all of your posts on the boards, are both pretty good clues as well that you are a Francophone, good sir. ;)

BBTS's 75$US a pretty good price compared to the 120$US Walmart.CA still ask for.
No wonder Canadian Walmart's STILL have the damn thing in stock two freaking years later. #-o

Yeah, but two years ago we didn't have several legend scale Primes w/trailer for less money as options.

Hot Soldiers, DX9, Magic Square to name a few.
