Best Of The Best

So this is my first post on this forum, really impressed with the whole SEIBERTRON.COM site.

I'm looking to collect the best of the figures from the new film but noticed there's different grades in figure (LEADER, VOYAGER, DELUXE), I bought the Leader class Prime (Fantastic toy).

Will Hasbro be bringing out A leader class version of all the range over time or is it a case of mixing and matching the different versions (Etc Leader Prime, Voyager Jazz, Deluxe Bumblebee??), if this is the way then hasn't Hasbro fallen a bit short with the Decepticon range scale wise?

Not counting the FAB(Fast Action Battlers) and Legends size ranges, except for a select few, you wont see all characters in all sizes(Deluxe,Voyager,Leader). I'd say it will be very hard to get a character in more than one size class. The only exceptions to this are Prime and Megatron (They are in Leader and Voyager Sizes (no Deluxe as of yet), and as of yet the awaited Leader Class Brawl(we already have a deluxe Version)

There are rumors about a Leader Class Blackout, and a Leader Class Starsceam. but as of yet no pics or confirmation of these.

i think brawl will be the last of the movie leaders, besides the repaints that will surely follow.

Yeah, we've already seen the Night Attack or was it Stealth Attack Leader Optimus Prime(Blue and Gray) repaint.

Anybody else think they were about to call him Ultra Magnus, and decided not to for some reason?

There is also a Leader Class Brawl Repaint as well called "Desert Attack Brawl" or something like that.

The reason may just be that ultra magnus is a name being kept for the next film

Yeah, I'm hoping there's going to be an Leader class Blackout too!

For the Autobots I was intending on getting the Voyager Class Ratchet and Ironhide and the Deluxe Bumblebee and Jazz to accompany my Leader Class Prime, this would provide a really cool scale/Quality mix (As pictured in the Prime gallery), pity Hasbro haven't tried to keep continuity though the Decepticon range (Even though Blackout looks really good). It makes me wonder if there holding back for a while! How can you have a scrap between L/Class Prime and a Deluxe Bonecrusher? :-(

The last few years, I've been very disappointed with scale among the lines. Mainly with the cars. I won't be buying any of the Movie Autobots for the same reason I won't buy Classics Bumblebee, Hot Rod or Mirage. I just feel the deluxe size is too big for car mode TF's and would prefer them in the Basic/Scout size like Cybertron Clocker and Overhaul so they can 'blend' with the G1 guys like Prowl, Sideswipe and Jazz.

I know that seems silly to some but it's just what I would prefer. Shame cos I would have loved to have a Movie Barricade that I could face off against G1 Prowl.

On a more positive note, I have bought Wreckage(reminds me of IDW Bludgeon) and Brawl who fit nicely with Prowl and co. I would say it's be nice were G1 Brawl the same size as Movie Brawl but I'm lucky enough to the oversized KO Combaticons (What every G1 combiner should have been).

Well, unfortunately for you, the Deluxe size seems to be the size class all the 'cars' are going to be, with few exceptions. Deluxe is the new "Autobot Car" size class, and Basic is the new "minibot" class.
