We've been enjoying the Toy Fair reveals so far, and one of the most talked about figures by far is the new Leader Class Megatron (with his awesome flame thrower) from the upcoming Transformers 5 film. Well, our field correspondents Megatronus and Seibertron himself have shown us that the flamethrower piece actually serves a purpose in jet mode! Check it out below!

That Windblade is simply stunning!

I also really like the details on a lot of the movie figures more than I expected I would. Hound and Megatron look awesome, especially with the fire effects. I may have to start putting some spending money aside for when these hit shelves. Between this and Titan Masters, RIP my wallet.

Yep, he is really Octone...

That 3 headed dragon looks really good... may actually consider picking it up to add to my knights of Cybertron themed movie line now.

I know I am looking to far into this but I have figured out three of the four Cyberglyphics found on Leader Megatron. If you flip the picture upside down and use the official Cyberglyphics alphabet you get ?.P.T.V. The first glyph is not on the chart but P.T.V. are. In old prime P stands for Warlord, T stands for Harvester, and V stands for Steadfast. Also I really love this figure. But I think Iam only going to get the voyager

OK, my dumb question.........where is wingspan and cloudraker?.... I can't believe I'm getting into these now..... a lot of them look awesome. Really dig seas pray pounce and fastlane......plus twin twist and topspin! OMG........THIS BLITZING LOOKS AWESOME!


I jus5 started gett8ng into these....could not resist picking up triggerhappy......the next thing I know I'm grabbing skullcruncher chromedome brainstorm and hardhead. Still gotta get weirdwolf......Still gonna pass on miindwipe....in my opinion he looks like garbage which really saddens me since he was my favorite head master......another dumb question....will we get a proper n8ghtbeat or will we just have to deal with the head master itself?

Not really feeling it for the TR box sets. Having Fastlane without Cloudraker or Pounce without Wingspan seems to defeat the point, and if they're gonna bring over the Super Ginrai mold, wouldn't it make more sense to wait and pair it with Godbomber? And Quickswitch's color scheme... I dunno, maybe as I see more pictures it'll grow on me. Nautica and Tidal Wave are pretty sweet, and Metalhawk looks okay, but that's not enough to justify the price of the rest to me.

Speaking of Nautica, I was not expecting a Blurr retool. When's the last time a male Transformer's mold was recolored or remolded into a female character?

Ultra Bee, Menasor, and Galvatronus all look pretty cool for simplified figures. Ultra Bee especially, since it breaks from convention in a few ways, being a four-bot combiner made of three cars and a dinosaur. Would have preferred some of the 'con limbs were a bit more distinct from each other, but it's certainly not a dealbreaker.

All of the Victorion components from last year were molded from male bodies, so it's only been about a year since a female retooled from a male hit stores

See, I really like this. Ultrabee is completely unique because of that. a 4 bot combiner, and there are 2 cars, a truck, and a Dino. I don't think there's ever been a time where a combiner was made of both beast formers and car formers. Really awesome point!

This is my worst nightmare

I can't blame you about box sets. I am very picky with them because they do cost a lot of money. I have to like every figure in the box to have it be worth it so it can be hit or miss. Then again there is always ebay for single figures.

That sticker is not going to hold up well to transformations. At all.

Which is a pity because it looks awesome.
