Sinnertwin (the last of the Deluxe Terrorcons) is finally available on HasbroToyShop.com! For whatever reason, they had Blot and Cutthroat up for a few weeks, but not Sinnertwin. But now in stock and purchase-able, get yours to top off your Abominus combiner - before they change their minds!

FYI - You made the Op-Op post in the Predaking thread. Not sure on Sinnertwin, I didn't see that one.

Also,FYI, we wouldnt news placeholder posts on their own since it is not 100% sure to lead to theitem actually being in stock. If the news is about a product's availability, we would news it when the product is available.

I actually wasn't going for a news credit, just wondering what happened to the post. besides, I often post things in the forums and via "News Submissions" that don't get news credit, no big deal

Anyone remember that rumor from a very long time ago saying that we'd get an Amazon exclusive Beast Wars subline during POTP to celebrate Primal becoming a Prime? I've been wondering how that rumor started, and if there were any plans for Beast Wars exclusive that might've been cancelled. Thoughts?

It was from reddit which has the tendency to have fake news and misinformation. So the truth is it was probably all untrue with no plans ever from Hasbro.

It came from an anonymous post on 4chan that ended up being 100% wrong and was probably someone trolling.

There's a Beast Wars subline to Power of the Primes next year. I work at Amazon and this will be a shared online exclusive. Us and BBTS.

No original molds, but we will get the Takara Blackarachnia mold in the US from it. Eight Deluxe and two Voyagers, Primal and Megatron. Primal is a retool of the PotP Apeface. Megatron is a retool of PotP Snapdragon. They won't have Titan Masters, so don't worry.

(The PotP Grimlock is Leader sized, so it was never a consideration to be retooled as Megatron.)

That was far too large to be an exclusive sub line and we never got any indication that PotP Grimlock, Snapdragon, and Apeface were ever going to be made. Plus it would have been planned to go up with the exclusive Prime Wars Trilogy set and Nemesis Prime and that's way too much.

Well, I distinctly recall first seeing the POTP leaks on 4chan and these proved true. Of course, any information leaked which is not something off some amazon listing or something similar should be taken with a serious grain of salt but this ain't so much the fault of the place as the fault of the people reading it. It's the internet, anyone anywhere could post some bull **** info like 'we are getting a Beast Wars sequel in 2020, my daddy who work at Hasbro said so': it's the nature of the beast, pun entirely intended.

Anyone can and will say anything on the internet and if people believe it its their fault for being gullible and believing everything without doublechecking. Granted there have been cases where a list of leaks proved quite true in many aspects but I'm unsure if this was the result of pure luck, the writer's wishlist being an accurate prediction of a line or some genuine info which wasn't up to date due to changes in the toyline or a mix of all the above.

There is very little reason to spread misinformation when it come to something as inane and ultimately meaningless as Transformers toylines. Occam's razor tells me a large portion of it is the real of fan speculation getting out of control mixed with gullible people playing a telephone game. The rest is just trolling gullible lemmings.

But, then again a lot of these theories often make so much sense that them not being true is a legit anomaly: see the Horrorcons for a perfect example of two characters which all sane and reasonable people saw no reason to disbelieve the existence of a new toy coming up. Except Hasbro legit screwed up and didn't make them for yet-still-unclear reasons.

Abominus anecdotal review.

For its price point, the Terrorcons are one of the best released so far. Only concerns are those pegs on Hungrrr (who seemed to get the short end of the stick with all the weenie sucky decals instead of the tampos on the limb bots) that form Abominus mode.

I really love how Hb changed the universal feet fits all model from the previous combiner war line( just because some noisy fans don't like kibble they illogically made both hand and feet equal mass, the feet should always be bigger to "SUPPORT" the body )

One issue I have is with that chest panel of Rippersnapper. In my copy, it keeps on falling off. Sinnertwin on the other hand is BOSS! One nitpick is that his lower dentures are unpainted unlike Rippersnapper who have a full set of painted choppers (why didn't Grimlock get the same teeth treatment?)

Blot is adorable.Same with Rippersnapper. They get the cuddliest homicidal beast bot awards!

Cuttthroat is a menacing.

Wish he (Hungrr) came with his sonic gun of the original G1 form.

P.S. (no monetary benefits involved) Try getting his Reprolabels set and apply them. It makes him all the more awesome.

Honestly the only 'bad' thing about POTP Abominus is that he lacks the most METAL feature of his G1 design: dragon mouth for knees. That said the overall package is great both in its combined form and as individual Terrorcons figure. Especially Blot who I find adorable.

I think wishful thinking did a lot to fuel those rumors, honestly.

Regarding the Horrorcons, I think we got at least a vague reason from Warden & co. why they didn't make them during Titans Return (although I forget the exact quote). I personally think it had to do with wanting to wait until they could make them outside TR's design constraints; specifically, the stipulation that all the Titan Masters transform the same way and have the same leg style and so on (hence Shuffler and Lione getting reimagined as humanoid robots with robot animal vehicles, rather than robot animals who turned into heads directly). That stipulation would have robbed the Horrorcons of their famous triple-changing head gimmick.

Since the first in hand images of what is the Walgreens exclusive Transformer Power of the Primes Wreck-Gar figure - which we covered back here, from Hong Kong fans - we now also have a first sighting in the United States, courtesy of Instagram user MCUCollector24!

Darn...I was so close. I saw someone posted a sighting in Alameda on Friday (which is in the East Bay, not to far from where I am in Sacramento). So I checked the 3 stores nearest to me the last couple days with nothing, but saw a lot of other things had been put out in the store. Guess its time to expand my search. If it's here in Sacramento, I'll find it. Trouble is...we have like 50 Walgreens

Oh and trust me...calling ahead doesn't work, the employees at a pharmacy store have zero knowledge about toys.

HA! I just checked Walgreens this past Friday. My Spidey sense was tingling. Nothing there, but at this specific Walgreens, the Deluxe shelf space has been empty for a few weeks so I'm expecting it to be filled with Wreck-gars.

Well, did a bit of searching. 7 stores in my area and zip. Just random TR figures, oh and a couple Clone 2-packs still around. However at one of the stores closest to my home I did have an interesting conversation with a manager that actually knew something... .
It went like this

(I see 2 male employees walking rather quickly out form the back, one of them actually acknowledges me)

Walgreens: Can I Help You?
Me: Maybe? Are you working only in the pharmacy? Or are you in the general store
Walgreens: Whole Store Sir
Me: OK. I'm looking for a particular toy
Walgreens: A Funko Pop?
Me: No, A Transformer
Walgreens: Wreck-Gar?
Me: Yep
Walgreens: Sorry they were all purchased as soon as we got them
Me: , but was appreciative to the employee for the tip

I can only surmise they must have been there Friday Morning, because I had been to that store all 3 days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), because it was so close to my home. So some scalper jerk must have got them right away. From past exclusives however, they were always restocked even after the first ones sold out, so I can only hope it will be the same for Wreck-Gar.

That order date is from my second order. I cancelled my first for shipping reasons before I knew there was going to be issues fulfilling orders.

Unrelated, been meaning to do this for a while:

Went on a 5 Walgreens tour during my lunch knowing that Wreck Gar probably won't be showing up in the midwest for about another week. But I wanted to see which stores still had plenty of deluxes and which ones were ripe for restocking soon.

So what did I find? Mainly PotP wave 1, particularly Slag and Swoop.

Plus a TR Blurr

Wreck-gar has made it out West, to Oregon!
