We give each convention the Seibertron Gallery treatment and it is time to welcome Hascon into the tadition. Click any image below to see more images of these figures at different angles and in different poses in our gallery. We have each Dinobot in their robot and dino mode as well as new shots of wave 1 Power of the Primes toys in their packaging to give you an idea of what that will look like. We also have some new stellar shots of Orion Pax in all his G1 glory with a headsculpt that seems to jump right out of the cartoon. We will have more galleries throughout the week-end of what was found at Hascon, but for now enjoy this Power of the Primes goodness!

Did I miss, or have they shown, Slash to have any weapon mode/armor mode integration, a la Legends in CW?

If she has any, we haven't seen it yet She can carry Titan/Prime Masters though!

There are no hints of any kind of weaponry, so we can safely assume that the Legends Combiner Accessory gimmick has been dropped, the Titan Prime Masters taking that role now.

Speaking of which, what is the significance of the Prime Master symbols in the upper right corner?

Yeah, the combiner fists can fit titan masters so it would work

Yeah, so that Orion figure is a cool homage, and probably a really great figure, But at the end of the day I really don't care for an Orion Pax figure. I will be sticking with Magnus Prime/God Bomber/that PE Prime that replaces the Magnus Cab for my giant Optimus needs.

Dinobots are totally bought

I like the Jazz figure, but I will probably not get the mileage out of him to justify,

Dreadwind guys are bought.

Cloudburst makes an awesome gun. But I have no need for Pretenders, hell they couldn't even ball the Titans up so they fit more into the chest, moving the hinges up to the pelvis and allowing the Pretenders to have HIP FLIPPIN JOINTS. So I will likely skip all of them.

Roddy looks good, even with the backpack of DOOM. But again, not sure if I want him enough to buy in. ... who am I kidding, I will buy it.

I could more easily see Orion being retooled into a Galvatron that forms Toxitron, based solely on robot modes.

Man that Optimus Mold could be used to make 2 AWESOME figures if they remold it right:

1). A Deluxe Class RID Scourge that combines with the trailer to form a Leader Class Nemesis Prime.

2). A Deluxe Class Armada Optimus Prime that combines with the trailer to form a Leader Class Armada Optimus Prime: Super Mode.

(They could also do Ginrai again, but it might be too soon for that.)

I once promised myself if Hasbro ever brought back the original Dinobots as their G1 selves, I would buy them all, now I can fulfill that promise.

But yeah, Armada Optimus was the first thing I thought of when I saw how that figure combines. (GIMME THAT GLORIOUS GOLD FACE-PLATED PRIME!)

Brace yourselves, it's gonna be a long one (as always ).

Sleeping through the reveals is both a blessing and a curse. On the bright side, I got to wake up this morning and FLIP OUT because I had totally forgotten that Hascon was today and now look at all these cool new toys oh boy!! On the other hand, everything's pretty much already been said by now. So I'll see what little I can contribute:

- I am 100% going to get every single one of the Dinobots and I love them all very much. Swoop and Grimlock are definitely at the top of my list, Swoop because he's my favorite Dinobot (though I'm honestly not sure why?) and Grimlock just looks by far the best we've ever seen as an update to his G1 form.
The others seem quite good too and I'm sure I won't regret getting any of them (Slaoug kinda looks really dumb in his Triceratops mode, but I think he's just been posed awfully).
- Speaking of which, side note: I know I should expect it by now, but really, a convention exclusively for your brand that's being exclusively run by your brand and you still can't get someone to pose things correctly? Poor Sludge's hand is upside-down, how do you even manage that?!
- Leader Prime looks mighty cool, but seeing as I already have and love the MP and I don't personally have a need for a Leader-class leaders, I'll probably pass. Doesn't help that I got Tribute Orion Pax just a week ago, either - the new guy looks insanely cartoon-accurate but I'm happy to stick with the one/s I've got. I'm still holding out hope for an eventual Ultra Magnus retool, though; I don't care if the inner robot is just a white Orion Pax instead of Optimus, just give me a cool combining Magnus robo!
-Starscream looks a lot better in these pictures? I hated him before but now I'm just mildly disgruntled. I'll probably still have to pass since I'm gonna have to tighten my wallet next year, but we'll see if he can change my mind before then.
- Frustrated that the combiners are being spread out over two waves again, from what we've seen. I'd like my Volcanicus (what a hard name to remember how to spell!) as soon as possible please, but I suppose it can be fun to drag out the search.
- Prime Masters don't give me much to say. I think it's super-cute how Micronus peeks through Cloudburst's visor, and I can't wait to see the Vector Prime one. Gonna compulsively buy all of them,
natch.

So after all that, I suppose I'll join in with my current want list? That's about all there is left for me to say at this point.

- Prime Masters: All of 'em, because I'm weak-willed and they're so cheap. Most excited for the as-yet-unrevealed VP though.
- Legends: All of 'em again, but since we've only had two revealed so far I guess that's not so bad. Beachcomber to contribute to my Legends minibots, and Slash because she's a Dinobot and she's cute and what more do I need to say.
- Deluxe: Dinobots, Jazz, maaaybe Darkwind and Blackwing since I'm a sucker for new and interesting gimmicks. And, I guess that's all the revealed Deluxes so far too, so uh.
- Voyager: Grimlock. Starscream isn't pushing the right buttons just yet but Grimlock just looks great, oh man.
- Leader: Nobody yet. Due to my preference for faction leaders being in Voyager scale, and the fact that Roddy still looks pretty clunky to me and OP pretty much only fills the spots of two figures I already have, I'm not too bothered about either of them.

I have only one compliant about the Dinobots, and the ones that I speak of are Grimlock and Snarl, there heads look a little to small, but it could just be me.

Hmmm. I see a clear shell around the top of Slufge's head. I hope that means there's going to be a release with all of the glorious chrome. The originals also had gold chrome under some parts covered by a clear layer, right?

Orion pax looks better as an actual toy than a cgi render.

That Grimlock legit has worse Dino proportions than the FOC version. But it's G1, so who cares right?

I am so glad to see that that Orion Pax was not given the kissy lips that he had in the cartoon.

Yeah, to be fair the dino proportions we're seeing in these pictures do look pretty bad on examination. (Though it appears to me, due to the way his shoulders seem to be constructed, that the dino hips will be able to swing down and in just a touch? If that's the case I think it'll help immensely, even if it's just a small change to the mode.) For me, the main draw of this version over FoC is that his robot proportions look way cooler: slightly smaller shoulder-circles counterpointed by a bigger and blockier chestal region, and the more chunkily solid legboots go a long way to making him feel more generally powerful "Grimlock-y" IMO.

Plus the aesthetic of this one will fit in with the other Dinobots (I still can't believe we're getting ALL THE DINOBOTS AAAAA), and of course not to mention that he combines (in quite a creative way too, if the grayscale prototype images and big seam down his center-chest are anything to judge by). Taking all that into account, yeah he's reall not bad at all; I don't hate my FoC Grimlock (he's still my Classics-style Grim at the moment with the addition of the Iron Factory Dino-Armor) but from what we can see so far, this guy is 100% going to take his place as the definitive Grimlock in my collection.

(Aaaargh I can't wait for Q1 2018 gimme toys NAOW)

Six dinobots? oh joy!

Perhaps a silly question.... But Volcanicus' limbs are scramble right? I see the "standard" combiner ports, but curious how the various limb mobdes shake out. (does this mean Predaking is scramble too? Or will he have unique connectors like Devastator?)

not exactly out of scale. Her alt mode is raptor, which generally is much smaller than stegosaurus or triceratops.

And research suggests that raptors had feathers not scales. So yes, they were out of scale.

But seriously, Beast Wars characters were about 1/3 or 1/4 the size of G1 characters, so it would be mostly accurate.
