You and me both my dude. I also want them to use regular white plastic instead of clear. Though that may require them to do painted on windows instead of clear ones so its a trade off.

I would like to know what this batch number thing means and how I can identify it through the package.

That would be preferable really. Not because I think the clear plastic is brittle or anything, but because it doesn't fit. All of the Combiner Wars cars had opaque windows, but then along comes Jazz and Moonracer with their clear windows. Not a big fan of that inconsistency, especially when it seems to be solely so the plug/gun in the combiner hand can be clear (even though Terrorcons have opaque plugs throwing that all off).

Actually, Moonracer's windows don't bother me that much since she'll probably end up next to T30 Arcee and Chromia in a lot of people's collections and they also have clear windows.

I'm ok with clear Jazz windows because when it gets redcoed into Boss it will need that clear red goodness

You know, my first non-combiner transformer toy I recall getting as a gift, also my first G2 toy, was Jazz. I had a huge nostalgia moment when I saw the clear window

I gave my MAGA Jazz to a friend for Xmas -- I like the mold, but G1 Jazz remains my favorite.

Vector Prime is also a new favorite!

I just saw the reprolables for PotP Jazz, and am considering picking up those G2 inspired stickers.

The batch number, or production run number is embossed on both the back of the packaging (no real steady place, tho it tend to be on the lower half close to where the warnings and copyright info are) and on the figure itself, usually opposite of the printed product code (PotP figures start with #E****).

That allows the factory to trace what run any figure belongs to, should there be any large-scale problems found, and fix whatever went wrong for a later run. Handy for recalls.

Got a sighting from a Seibertronian that goes by the name of g2jazz. G2jazz did some shopping in Germany regarding Power of the Primes stuff hitting their retail!

First off, yes you can find some of the Authentics line in store at German retail. The line encompasses Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, and Megatron.
Price is set at €7,99 (Optimus Prime pictured)


Now to the main show, the Power of the Primes line itself.

The Prime Masters were sighted consisting Micronus, Vector Prime and Liege Maximo

Hey guys, can someone help me understand something? These prices, by numerical comparison alone, are drastically higher than the prices listed in the U.S.A. In the US, Prime Masters are 4.99, legends 9.99, deluxes 16.99, voyagers 29.99 and leaders 44.99. Does the Australian currency have more weight, or do Aussies make more to compensate for the price difference? I just don't see how that can be affordable at all... any explanation would be mostly appreciated. Thank you.

Higher minimum wages usually mean higher cost of living and prices on goods. Japan tends to buck the trend there with a minimum wage of 848 JPY (US$7.70) and we know how expensive their own stuff is, no wonder why so many Japanese adults drop out of the work force and move in with their parents.
