Titans Return Megatron legs

I didn't see this anywhere else, so I'll just ask:

Is anyone else having problems tabbing Megatron's knees to the waist for transformation? The tabs juuuuust come up short and it keeps him from transforming properly. I saw one Youtube review where the reviewer was having the same problem but couldn't figure it out either.

Your missing one click in part of the internal rotation. Best advice I can give is to get the tabbing piece set before you bring it up to the slot. It's much harder to position as the tab approaches its destination.

I assure you, it does connect properly.

You are best manipulating the knee to give you the extra room and plug them in with the legs split then tab the legs together - it is a little tricky as you are doing it with a poor view but it's not that hard really.

It works, but it's a huge pain to get it to work.

I need help. I have a transformer toy and I have no idea what series it is from or the name of it etc. I am trying to help my friend sell this and I need help.
Someone please let me know if you can identify this for me. Please.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

I believe that is Titanium Series Optimal Optimus:

This isn't the right thread for asking such questions though: we have a special ID'ing thread stickied to the top of the forum.

I can get them all tabbed in and what not, but the problem is when I switch between the tank and jet modes is that the doors that stay latched in on the calves, don't. They pop up intermittently. I was able to get them to stay tabbed in place for a tank mode (with some fiddling), but forget about it on Jet mode. I do like how he scales though with the other Cons I have, but I still use my CW Leader G1 Megatron as my go-to for quintessential Megatron.

Figured out the little trick here. Basically there's a tab at the top at the top of the knees and it has to tab into a slot that is roughly above the joint that allows you to rotate the legs around on the thighs.

So you'll see two slots, the one for the joint and the one you have to tab into of course that's only a bit higher up and small enough to accommodate a tight fit on the knee tabs in the legs housing. Once you get the knee tabbed into those thigh slots the doors stay shut between both jet and tank modes. It does the job very nicely I might add and is overall a lot less fiddly if you're having problems with getting all the modes to stay together.

If you folks need a picture, let me know. I'll show off where you need to have it tabbed in the slots.

I think some are aware of the knee tabs they just have trouble getting the knees to bend in a way to reach the slots - it is a bit tricky as you have to move both hinges to give you the reach and there is that other tab that goes in the crotch too.

I was recently having another issue which is the sides sometime get stuck in a place they don't line up in tank mode so I have to keep unpegging the arms the whole way along so they fit in deeply enough to allow the wings to fold down.

Oh and those stickers really are not holding up so well they really are starting to peel at the wing edges now to such a degree i'm going to have to glue the down.

I'm really not at all happy that part is still stickers on Blitzwing.

Ah. I see. I was having trouble getting them all to line up like they should and didn't realize the tabs for the slots weren't meeting the clearance until closer inspection. As soon I got them to meet the clearance I sorted out all my issues with it. Even though they are a big pain to get lined up altogether anyways.

Those stickers would have been better if they were paint apps instead of foil stickers I feel. I am just... meh all over those. It's a decent figure and scales with my other Cons nicely until I get some of the leaders to add to my ranks, for sure it will probably be a better Blitzwing. I just hope it drops the stickers for paint apps instead.
