Do I have extremely bad luck with Masterpieces?

Hi all, I am new here but I been a TF fan ever since I was a child.

Now that I'm an adult and have a job and my own money, I started to kick it up and notch and been collecting Masterpieces, because I was in awe after reading and watching all the reviews about their incredible level of details.

Unfortunately my experiences with MPs haven't been too positive. So far I have purchased 7 MPs and every single one of them have some kind of QC issues, like: many stress marks, parts not fitting right, cracked plastic, loose joints, missing parts, paints chipping etc... right out of the box. I bought all of them NEW. Some great sellers happily gave me refund while others don't.

So my question is, do I just have extremely bad luck with Masterpeices, or are there general QC issues with some or even many figures/lines/production date/serial number?

MPs I have/purchase: MP2 Soundwave, MP Shockwave, MP22 Ultra Magnus, MP11 Starscream, MP Prowl, MP Star Saber, MP Grimlock.

I'm still a big noob regarding MPs and hope some here can guide me. Thanks!

It's normal. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise ;)

MP-10. 1st I got had foot lights all facing to the left. My replacement version had melted tires

MP Takara Soundwave DID NOT have the upside down triangle on his crest

MP-05 had cosmic rust on his feet

MP-01 has thin paint which are now oxidizing (like he has acne all over)

MP Beast Convoy had a chipped lip ( default face ) but Amiami replaced it.

MP Star Saber has a bit of a loose groin panel

MP IH has his chrome oxidizing too fast

MP Alert has a paint chip behind his right knee

MP Buzzsaw got a paint chipped when I ejected him

MP Hotrod has some fade out of his chrome, not as bad as IH

MP Grimlock = perfect
MP WJ = perfect
MP Exhaust = perfect ( if you call adding some decals to fix the Malboor logo )
MP UM = perfect
MP Lambor = perfect
MP Ratchet = perfect
MP Inferno = perfect
MP Grapple = perfect
MP Cassetrons (the rest of the gang, I don't own a Ratbat) = perfect
MP Laserwave = perfect

Edit:

MP Tracks = perfect
MP Roadrage = perfect

* No mentioning of the design flaws but just the lack of production flaws

Part of the territory when you collect machine made items controlled by imperfect humans.

My only issue so far has been my Loudpetal MP-25L broke during first transformation. His leg panels did not want to separate, until one came off with the other during the split. I've been debating buying another, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it.

Sounds like a run of bad luck to me. Out of 30+ MPs in my collection only 2 had somewhat uncommon issues. My Shockwave has a lower leg that refuses to tab together, others have had the same complaint, but it isn't entirely common. My Streak (regular Bluestreak) has an entirely uncommon factory issue where somehow they got a bunch of glue into the left arm transformation joints freezing it underneath making transforming him into bot mode impossible. Unfortunately by the time I got around to opening the box I already had it for over a month so I'm stuck with it. I could probably fix it if I could just find something that'll dissolve the glue without harming the plastic and paint finish.

Another thing one should consider is whether or not you accidentally obtained fakes. MP releases have been faked left and right, almost as bad as G1 figures (US-styled "Chinese reissues") a couple years back.
