I'd actually buy that if it didn't cost so much. I can get a lose original for that much. A high priced KO kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?

Here are some photos of a loose Swoop, doesn't look too bad

This is a bit scary. When KO can look this good, how do you spot them from the real ones? The box, the bot, and the even the booklets seem to match.

In this particular case, it is easy to spot because the real Swoop had foam inserts. However, in the future the fakes might become very difficult to spot. This is not good if you are a TF collector/investor. I hope Takara and Hasbro think of some way to address this issue.

****.

I have enough trouble trying to find a nice Swoop that's affordable. Now the flippin' market is going to be flooded with these bastards. :-(

This one is misleading because it doesn't state that it's a KO.

I thought the original release of Swoop & the other Dinobots all had plastic inserts......maybe I'm imagnining things.....but I don't think so......but this is quite nice......luckily I don't need it, I got a REAL G1 Swoop.

*edit* Did anybody else notice that at the ned of the decription it said "Don't miss your chance to collet this rare Star Wars"? WTF? I dunno.....these sellers.......wanko!!

I suspect the price may have something to do with his rarety outside the US, we never got him in the UK for instence.

How much!

If there are loads of these then the price reflects the hope that someone wont realise its a KO.

Nothing wrong with a KO if you cant get the real thing but the price has to be right.

It's a shame the price is so high, if it was half of that I would order one.

However I will still be looking out for the KO Ratbat.

There is no way I am paying that much for a KO. I can get a vintage one for that much.

I'd buy that if it wasn't so expensive. I mean, Jesus! The original ones out of box cost less than that modern knock-off!

You mean this?

I don't understand how the KO can get away with have the Hasbro logo on the package.

Your right. I just came across this, which is disturbing. Will the real Swoop step forward?

hey guys, sorry to response so late to this
i just bought 3 swoops (1 for myself, the rest for gifts/to sell in my country where swoops dont roam free)
and a few cassetes...

one of the swoops is too good to be real
one of them has a problem with one of it's launchers (not connecting as good as it should)
but while the first two seems real enough, the third one...
i just know its a fake, its wheel feels odd, his beak seems different from the other two, his chrome free wings, dont seems to get all the way back to its back
something's fishy... i want to check it out, please assist
also? how do i check the cassetes?
pics will be added if needed
much thanks to all who will help
