Well I did it.

I tried sending an email to Hasbro asking them to consider doing a combiner set of triple changers. Anyone want to start some sort of online petition? If so, please give clear instructions as to how to sign. If they did that, I'd want to get the triple changers one at a time rather than a whole set at once because it would probably be over $100.

If you can send an e-mail, you should be able to work out how to get a online petition going (Google is your friend)

If people want something done, then they should take the initiative themselves instead of relying on other people to do it for them.

My email address is jasonsnakelover@gmail.com if that'll help to get a petition going.

Won't help me, you're the one that thinks it should be started, so start it.

Alright, here it is. https:/petitions.com/petition/tranformer-combiner-team-of-triple-changer-figures
If they made like four scout or legends class triple changers and a deluxe triple changer, it shouldn't be too expensive to get the set as one.

Aren't most Transformers combiner limbs already technically triple changers? Each robot in the team can have a robot, vehicle/beast, and body part mode (arm, leg, or torso, usually). So, maybe you might want to be more specific with Hasbro about what you want, which I assume would be combiner teams with members that have TWO alternate modes on top of robot and limb. Quadruple changers?

I thought it should've been obvious that I want two alternate modes besides the body part, and I don't even consider them triple changers if they're combiners. Although the G1 Onslaught looks like a triple changer to me because he turned into something else besides that military vehicle.

How about they get existing toys in stores rather than worrying about something new like a triple changer combiner?

The ramp mode? All the g1 torsos had some 3rd mode like that.

Indeed. Those "platform" modes for the torso figures were for interactivity with Metroplex. Metroplex and the "Scramble City" combiner teams were among the last of the Diaclone toys in development by Takara before the "rebranding" to Transformers. When Takara decided to "import" Hasbro's new Transformers franchise back to Japan, Diaclone was stopped and all development switched to the new Transformers line. That's why the Decepticon team leaders Motormaster and Onsalught could connect with the Autobot fortress Metroplex. That gimmick was already in the designs before the different transforming robots were divided up into opposing factions by Hasbro.

Well for one thing, it's hard to afford to get all of them. There are a lot in the toy stores now that I want to get but can't afford yet. There's probably a local Walgreens, so I won't have to rely on some online dealer to sell me Brainstorm. As it is, I'm going to have to rely on an online dealer to get Arcee and Chromia. Someone pointed me to a nice deal for both of them. Can someone do that again since I don't have the link?

The only other G1 set that I had and played with besides Bruticus was Computron, and I didn't get any instructions about how to transform the leader of the Technobots into a ramp or something?

It's Silverbolt, Motormaster, Onslaught and Hot Spot who turned into ramps or something like that.

Scattorshot, the Technobot guy, turned into a cannon turret as his third mode.

My Scattorshot didn't have any instructions on turning into a cannon. I just had instructions on how to make him into a jet.

Yeah, those are the ones I was thinking of. I forget Computron and Abominus are technically "scramble city" types as well. Hot Spot turns into some sort of med bay instead of a ramp, but the other three are ramps.

Devastator doesn't have "a" torso bot, rather multiple bots make the torso so I didn't mean him either. Predaking's Razorclaw as far as I recall doesn't do any third mode (well, torso is a 3rd mode itself, I guess but beyond that). Never had Seacons or Monstructor so *shrug*

Monstrucator was the same as Devestator. No single torso bot.

Has anyone come up with another mode for the leader of the Terrorcons? They probably haven't because that one's strictly from Hung-rrr. You gotta love my humor since I came up with that one.

The leader of the Terrorcons was Hung-rrr if I'm not mistaken, and to say something's not that great is to say it's from hunger.

If I think something isn't great, it's not from hunger, it's because I think it isn't great.

I'll tell you it's crap on a full OR empty stomach.
