I just got Megatron mp-05 and I transformed most of it but the pistol handle won't merge together. What am I doing wrong?

First off, you should try doing a search for a YouTube instructional video; and if you're still having trouble after watching one, I'd be glad to take him off your hands. I've been searching for more Titan Returns triple changers at Walmart; but all they have left is Soundwave, which sucks. I'm not saying Soundwave sucks. I'm saying they could stand to get more.

I watched a couple before posting here. It doesn't show how the the gun handle closes together. He just pushes them together and if I do that it won't close. Did I unhinge every arm underneath?

I'd be careful with that, some may consider that type of message quite annoying. Seen it all the time on YouTube when a reviewer favors against a certain figure.

Looking at the picture in question, I may have spotted a tiny problem that's not uncommon with that particular type of joint connection: the rivets at the bottom, and the hinges, seem to be misalligned.

Heres another pic, is that diamond in the middle suppose the end up flat? It won't close together, I'm doing something fundamentally wrong?
