Idea for distinguishing Titans Return Sweeps

As anyone familiar with the Sweeps knows, in canon they're basically identical to Scourge. It's a nice fact that makes his toys wonderful for army-building.
However, the gimmick of the Titans Return toyline offers a way to create at least a few more unique Sweeps. And that is to take one of the partnerless separate-sale Titan Masters (such as Overboard here) and use them as the head, leaving Titan Master Fracas to ride in either Scourge's gun or the other Titan Master's vehicle.

Example picture with Titan Master Over[s]kill[/s]board and my (currently only) Titans Return Scourge:

I swapped the thighs of Scourge with... blue helicopter autobot guy (sorry, too many names to remember them all and i don't feel like googling now) to make Scourge match the g1 toy even more than it did before. You could do that and leave the sweeps with stock legs.

Sorry for it rotating, it was standing upright on my computer!

That would be Highbrow. Personally I plan to just paint the legs.

The thing about my idea is it would distinguish Sweeps not just from Scourge but from each other as well. It would also provide bodies for the Decepticon Titan Masters with no partner.

Here's the idea more properly demonstrated now that I have another Scourge:

I find Apeface a good head to use on other bodies, looking like a con symbol and all.

You should go with Terri Bull, it's a closer blue :

And the neutral faceplated face works better for minions/army in my opinion.

Suppose it'd be remiss to not mention that Takara's providing for this too. Their version of Gnaw comes packaged with an alternate Sweep head for double the Army-Building!

Heh, that's nice. Alas, my means are such that army-building with the Takara version of something is not happening unless I win the lotto. But on the other hand, that moustache looks like something it would be very easy to kitbash..

ExciKaiser, color-matching isn't the point of my idea. The point is to give at least some Sweeps distinct heads and in the process give the loose Decepticon Titan Masters partner bodies of their own.

Yes, and ?

It's what I propose you, but with a better color matching than Overboard.

Terri Bull is a titan master like overboard, but with a closer color scheme and a better weapon mode.

Did I refer to giving a singular Titan Master a partner body? No, I'm pretty sure I used plurals. :HEADHURTS:

You're still not getting it, so let me try and be clearer: The idea isn't to use a particular loose Decepticon Titan Master. The idea is to use any and all of them. Overboard just so happens to be the only one I currently have.

I think nobody see the point then.

Is it a topic to explain that we can swap head on titan return figures?
We'll have 150 new thread soon then.

I just bought the Japanese Scourge with the intention of using him as a primary - I'll likely use the Hasbro one as 'the sweeps' I did the same with the generations ones too - but they have repainted them so many times now I have a whole bunch of crazy colours of them now.

I agree a couple of Japanese Gnaws is good idea for a couple or three replacement heads.

I'm not sure yet which one would make the best scourge and which one the best sweeps though - it's certainly cheaper to go with just the ones Japanese one - but I might buy a couple of extra's anyway maybe even juggle some parts.

I don't need to many sweeps - though - like Junkions just a few is fine.

No, it's more of a "kill two birds with one stone" thing. Apeface, Crashbash, Terri-Bull, Overboard, Fangy, and Skytread don't have Deluxe partner bodies of their own and likely won't get them. So the idea is to give them all such bodies by putting them on Sweeps because the Sweeps are throwaway Generics and thus they're not taking the place of named characters, with the bonus that by doing so you're also creating Sweeps that are distinct.
