Anyone had any quality control issues with him? Like gold plastic syndrome or otherwise?
I'm getting one in a few days MIB (Hopefully) and I just would like a heads up to see if I should open him or if he's gonna be a problem. I did a few days of googlefu about him but couldn't find anything on him other than reviews from when he was a new thing. He's one of the more obscure toys so finding any info is kinda hard. I almost bought a randy back in 2001 so I'm really skittish about gold plastic.

I've never once thought about GPS with Magna Stampede! I've had the figure since release, transformed it a good number of times and posed it and never had any problems. The plastic doesn't really appear to be gold at all(unlike my Beast Machines Striker, which has a couple broken pegs and the socket joint on the cape broke).

So at least from my end I think it should be good, and as a bonus there's no translucent plastic used, and I found the joints to be tighter and connections more secure than the original Battle Unicorn.
