Seibertron.com makes it's triumphant return to galleries with everyone's favorite oil can, Valvotron! The non-transforming promotional figure was available recently via a contest, as well as a prize for mailing away a proof of purchase for a certain amount of oil by the Automotive company Valvoline. There's an unexpected difference between the two, as the giveaway version comes with a congratulatory note, and the redeemable version comes with a sticker set! Check out a selection of images below, and click on any of them to be taken to the full gallery, and then check out some in hand images and size comparisons of the promotional figure, courtesy of yours truly!

He's a lot bigger than I expected.

He has quite the G1 inspired design actually. Pity he doesn't transform, he could probably have made an interesting oil jug. XD

He is a lot bigger than i initially thought. And with that size, it is even more unacceptable for me that he cannot transform.

I was really bummed that he didn't transform either. It seems like a really simple "arms fold back, legs fold forward" type of transformation to build an oil can, more-or-less, could have been easily done. However, considering that we're also basically getting this figure for free because it's just one of the "shampoo" bottle style Transformers figures, I understand why it doesn't. Though I still wish it did. Damn logic versus desire!

I'm looking forward to someone cutting this up and , perhaps with a few parts from other Valvoline items, making an actual transformable version of this.

It's really terrible he doesn't transform especially since he was clearly designed in a way where you can imagine how his transformation would've worked. Here I was actually thinking we were getting a return to the days of decent mail-aways, what came over me?! I seriously should've known better.
