Hi guys,
I recently bought DOTM deluxe prime for my son and for some reason he has some major problems.
none of the youtube reviews that i saw mentioned these problems.
The first problem is his chest won't stay tabbed when i close it.
i thought the head was in the way but it doesn't seem to interfere.
secondly during his transformation to robot mode when i pull the two shoulder pieces apart the head won't spring out, not until i turn the back lever up.
and lastly his weapon won't stay in his hand.
i was just wandering if you guys have any suggestions.
cheers.

The chest issue is not one I've heard off. There should be a very small tab and slot by the lights that hold the chest together. Make sure the head is pushed down into the chest so it lets it close all the way.

The head is known to get stuck in the chest. My version, which is the Silver Knight chromed version has this problem. That's what lever on the back is for.

The weapon should be the mechtech axe that flips out and should peg into the fist hole. Is it very loose? Or how are out placing it there?

My only problem is I found it strangely hard to transform after spending a long time with it put away (and the instructions who knows where).

That's strange. It's quite straightforward to transform.

Extend truck nose away from truck.

Rotate legs and pelvis down. Split the legs and extend. rotate feet out, rotate rear wheels into calf.

Split sleeper compartment into arms and extend outward.

Rotate torso 180 degrees. Clip pelvis into bottom of torso. Peg arms onto the sides of torso. Pull apart the chest and popup the head, fold the truck nose onto the back and tab in.

The only really tricky part is to peg the arms back into place and onto the knee pads when going back into truck mode.
