Last night, I was messing around with Armada Prime and decided to put him in Super Mode. But it had been a while since I did, and as I was trying to work out how his little arms went, I tried to bend his left arm down behind his wheel and it was really stiff. I had the right one down like that so I applied juuuuuuust a teeniest bit more pressure and the hinge at the elbow just snapped right off. I love those armada toys, and I remember being warned when I bought it at TFN last year those hinges are prone to breaking. I'm usually careful with my figures so it's not often they break. Hopefully I can find a junker and do some arm surgery, but I just wanted to share my woeful tale and thought this could be used for those who accidentally break something to share the pain.

Compared to g1 everything since seems nearly made of adamantium. I swear I had to return at least a third of g1, or make another kid pay to replace it after he broke something of mine.

Compared to that maybe a half dozen or so since rid01 and later have wound up breaking, usually due to transparent (NOT TRANSLUCENT! DIFFERENT THING AND VERY FEW TF TOYS HAVE ANYTHING REMOTELY TRANSLUCENT!) hinges or something similar.
