Your display methods.

Out of curiosity, do you have certain ways you organize your Transformer displays? For example, all the Optimus Primes on the same shelf, or all the figures from the same line together? Or do you change it up from time to time? I keep all my Primes on the same bookshelf, occupying several shelves, with a couple of exceptions, such as DoTM Ultimate Prime or my custom Omega Prime, which are too tall for the shelf. On a bookshelf right next to that are all my Megatrons, mirroring my Primes according to series/line/continuity. Everything else I change around, as I am doing now with my CW and TR figures, which gave me the idea for this thread.

I don't have much of a collection to speak of, but what I do is separate them by series. CHUG figs go in one spot and movie figs/any other figs go in another spot. I really like how the different displays look adjacent to each other.

Series be damned. I organize by space and what looks good together, regardless of origin. Only caveat for me are Titanium and Alternators.
Thinking about doing a shelf of nothing but helicopters; Animated Blackout, Springer etc. We'll see.
Never seen your setup. Post some pics man.

I have all of my figures displayed by line and factions. All of my G1 stuff is on one shelf, CHUG on another, and MP's in a glass case. I only collect those lines, so I it's a little easier for me than some to keep things divided up.
This reminds me, I have to update my photos. My collection thread is old!

I used to do it pretty structly by line, but as space has become a premium this collapsed. Now it's more by fictional universe, so all Movie lines are together, Prime and RiD 2015/6/7 are together, IDW inspired designs are together, and Classics/etc is where I do whatever the hell I want.
I also do whatever in Cybertron/Galaxy Force because the colony world concept opens it up to infinite possibilities.
Probably the only line still generally organized based on the toy line is G1, but even then I'll add G2, ehobby, encore, CE, Commemorative, SCF, Diaclone, Microman as I feel like it.

I only divide my collection (very loosely) by scale- I usually put my Legends together, though even that goes out the window sometimes. And aesthetics are freely mixed in my collection too, because screw consistency. Case in point my CW Shockwave is currently chilling with my other TFs as DOTM Shockwave's Mini-Me.
