Something that came to mind, that makes this set really impressive: Falcon mode has ZERO kibble top to bottom front to back, and the sheer amount of paint apps is mind blowing.
I agree, the Falcon mode is 100% perfect in every way

with GI JOE its more feasible because they exist in the same universe
and now with Star Trek OMG why its illogical :HEADHURTS:

To me it seems to go together with Star Trek, since they go around exploring all types of different worlds they could eventually run into Cybertron, since Earth exists in both universes. Maybe it was contact with the Cybertronians that lead to the development of warp drive technology years before on Earth. A party from Cybertron looking for the Ark and the Autobots landed on Earth, made contact with the government, shared technology, couldn't find them, left to keep searching, and eventually Star Trek happened.
As for Star Wars, being from a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, perhaps in the golden age of Cybertron, when they were exploring different worlds, maybe they came in contact with the Star Wars galaxy. Shared their technology. Created a boom there. Some Transformers got in with the Jedi, others with the sith. Jedi and sith have a war that destroyed much of the Galaxy, using the Transformers technology to help them. Since the Transformers had been a peaceful race at this time, they left that galaxy for the most part. Some of the contingent stayed behind as robots in disguise, not yet willing to give up on them yet. They eventually meet up with the original trilogy heroes, revealing themselves and offering help to topple the empire, while others became corrupt from time spent with the Empire and now want to rule the Galaxy with them.

Woof, the face paint on these is abysmal, especially Han having silver paint smeared all over.

Now only time will tell if Cheiwe suffers from GPS again.
If you don't know what GPS is then type it into the search bar of the transformers wiki.

Unlikely, since GPS has been all but abolished for the last several years. Barring some other unforeseen structural issue with the plastic, there should be nothing to worry about! :D

I'm terribly amused by Chewie in action poses. His action pose is usually stick arm straight out or some light jogging.

Am I the only one getting a fembot vibe from this set? Mainly from the Han Solo bot. It clearly has an Arcee boob shelf. It also has what could be called high heels. Not to mention that the head kinda reminds me of Anode. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Aha! We just assumed it was supposed to be Han because of the mini figure, but it's really Leia in her Boushh disguise, that would still explain the Chewbacca half, too.

After a number on in hand, in package, display and prototype images, we finally also have a video review of the Takara Tomy Star Wars Powered by Transformers crossover line's double set of Han Solo and Chewbacca - turning into their combined Millennium Falcon mode!

You can check out the clip, shared with us by fellow Seibertronian Hellscream9999 and sourced from YouTube reviewer Baltmatrix, embedded below, showing the tiny minifigures included with the set, the vehicle mode and its accessories, transformation, robot modes, and size comparisons with mainline Transformers figures in a number of class sizes (from Deluxe to Leader). Check it out, and let us know what you think in the Energon Pub discussion boards!

Honestly, this line feels like a tremendous missed opportunity. If they just tweaked the original molds (less derpy arms, a couple extra hinges to reduce backpack clutter, etc) and gave them better decoes, they could have better product with less money spent on design. Instead, we're getting arguably-worse designs of figures that have already been made, with all the costs of new molds thrown in?

I cannot believe folks are saying the new Takara line is in anyway better than the old Hasbro series. I know the Hasbro toys had issues (many of them in fact) but the new Han and Chewie are hideous, and Vader isn't much better. And don't get me started on Han's head mold.

Differing taste is all.

Mine's in my HLJ pile of loot. Waiting with another Star Wars'y thing, and waiting on another Star Wars'y thing to drop soon so I can ship 8-}

But parsecs are units of distance, not time. :-P
