Which is interesting because it means that they are not numbering the core class, or they are numbering them out of order.

Based on the pictures we have of the boxes, core class is not numbered.

Just to keep myself in check:

#70 B-127
#71 Autobot Dino

#72 Starscream

#73 Grindor # Ravage

#74 Bumblebee (RotF)
#75 Jolt

#76 Thrust

#77 N.E.S.T. Bumblebee

#78 Sideswipe (RotF)

#79BB High Octane Bumblebee

#80-#82 ???

#83 Soundwave

It's a bit hasty to think Soundwave will be listed at the end of his group, for all we know he's at the beginning with the Core Class in front of him.

Yeah the core class packaging have no numbers which I find very odd.

Not in the front, but what about the side and back?

Every other SS has had the number prominently featured on the front. While WFC #s are kind of an afterthought. I always viewed SS kind of like Alternators, where the number is part of the fun/ sickness we collectors have in wanting to have them all ;) .

True Legends/ Core Class is new to SS, but I'm sure the developers know the significance of the numbering system. Alternatively perhaps the packaging we are seeing isn't final?

Did anybody else notice that Soundwave still had the clear bands on in robot mode? Usually, those are used to secure the figure to the box or for holding a protective plastic covering over certain parts. Rarely, they're used to hold parts together, interesting.

Soundwave's robot mode is pretty decent, that alt though, I think mine will transform once and then never again.

That really is what WFC Siege Soundwave should have been right there

Visible Heads Galore in New Images of Studio Series Bumblebee Movie Shockwave, Soundwave and Ravage

Thanks to posts on Instagram and the Cybertron 21 Facebook page, we have in hand images of 3 upcoming Studio Series figures. These are core class Shockwave and Ravage along with voyager Soundwave. We get a good idea of Soundave's size as well as how his alt mode looks like. We see that Hasbro has been very coy with those alt mode images, diligently hiding the fact that Soundwave's head just stays there in the back. Same with Shockwave who also has visible head syndrome. We do see the accessory that comes with Ravage to give Soundwave a more G1 styled gun tip. And sure, Ravage's alt mode is even more of a nothing burger than Soundave's but we see that it's just a way to fold him into the chest cavity.

Wow, I knew Ravage was smaller than most Cores when shown in package next to Shockwave, but he's even smaller than I thought he'd be.

And yet that's still not the smallest Ravage we've ever gotten!

The more I look at the Core class Shockwave, the more I like it, however I will be skipping it as it looks like it is a downscaling of a figure I already have. Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager class Shockwave!

Why skip it? It's made to be used with larger figures like titans and such. Your BH Shockwave could also have a son!

Main reason is that I'm at a point I need to be very selective what I buy for my collection! Right now my wish list for figures is the Studio Series Bumblebee Ratchet, Legacy Skids, and my current ultimate grail, Titans Return Misfire!

Is that the throne / command chair from the SS-86 Starscream?

Hopefully you get him soon, it's honestly a nice figure. I have mine displayed amongst his other Targetmaster brethren! (Still waiting for a new Needlenose toy...at least the subscription service figure can suffice in the meantime...)

Sure is. Just need some black paint and Movie-styled Impactors to complete the picture ;)

Imagine actually transforming Soundwave correctly so he doesn't have his head showing in alt mode. Dude shoulda looked at the instructions (No need to correct me, I'm "aware" of why he may potentially be missing instructions). As For Soundwave and Ravage, I was really hoping to just buy the Offroad Bumbelebee (which i did) and have my sole BB movie representation. But these Cybertron bots and cons from the movie are so tempting that I may want to dip into the live action side of Studio Series too.

Shockwave looks great and all, but his existence still bothers me. His inclusion in Studio Series makes no sense when it comes to scale, he’s one of the first SS figures to break this rule, it seems. It would have made way more sense to release a G1 Core Class Shockwave, he would complement the other Kingdom Core Cons perfectly.

Thanks. Yes. Recreating Siege Soundblaster’s throne room.

I don't see any way to hide the head on Soundwave. The picture of it upright is the bottom of the alt mode with the head turned backwards, in the picture of the top the head is turned down. In neither picture is there anything that would hide the head. I don't think they intend for you to look at it from the underside.

I think there's some flaps on the shoulders that fold out to hide the head, at least that's what they look like. Could be wrong, and it doesn't do a whole lot to reduce the sheer nothingyness of the altmode. A shame as his robot mode looks fantastic.

Shockwave looks good too, though damn those proportions are thicc! I had a very silly idea a while back for justifying multiple Shockwaves by saying he created multiple clones of himself to solve his understaffing problem (it's only logical!) and this can be the obligatory female clone/the Slipstream.
