That's actually fairly nice looking for a core class attempt at a fairly convoluted design.

Well yay! Looks like concept Megs has a QC mis-assembly issue on the back of the thighs. Specifically the tread parts, there should be a left and right side that are symmetrical to each other. I got 2 of the same side and it prevents tabbing that leg in fully for jet mode. Great! It will also be nearly impossible to tell in store if the figure has the same issue.

I've been loving the studio series stuff. The problem is, I now live in the boondocks and its nigh impossible to find stuff. On top of that, we don't have a car right now. (we're getting one we just have had multiple setbacks that are out of our power.

Still looking for the gamer edition Starscream and it seems there is a new SS Cybertron version? Lookking forward to that.

Who needs brick and mortar stores anyway? Amazon and the like will deliver it to you.

That is, unless you REALLY live in the TRUE boondocks like an Antartica base or on Tristan da Cunha.

I typically don't like buying through amazon. But there is another problem, which we found out this week (ands is part of the setback). But thanks to Canada post, our Postal Code is to a post office Box, and companies like fedex don't like delivering to that. As of this moment a very important document we need is floating in limbo right now thanks to that BS. I'll have to go into town and see if there is some alternative code we can use. So I consider us in the boondocks.

Weeeeesh.....
That suck hard. #-o

The irony is if you did live in Antartica base, Amazon DO deliver packages way over there. Once every few months mind you, but they do.

I recommend getting Pulse Premium then and have them shipped. You get free shipping with it. I've saved hundreds. Literally.

I really appreciate having such an early heads-up with releases and even which quarter they’ll happen.

Assuming the main color is a blue-violet-ish, I’ll get the SS86 Galvatron.
I love that mold, and in a better, more accurate color, it will be the definitive version.
I can’t wait for SS86 Megatron, and just as exciting for me are the SS86 Constructicons.

Between these figures alone, next year is already looking great.

that's putting it politely. FedEx said they'd call back but never did. So I will avoid using them in future. I do periodically ship stuff to my husband's work. But it makes it difficult to say "that starscream's always been here" if he receives it.

Gotta say I'm impressed that they're doing four of the Constructicons over two waves instead of dragging them out over four waves. Of course it's the last two waves of the year so the results are the same, but it's still nice to see, especially if the Commander price point really is covering the last two team members. We'll get the whole team in relatively short time.

I really hope the leader budget makes for a killer Knight Optimus!

Galvatron and Megatron again....

I recently did some work on the shelves, and the SS shelf got a nice update. The crew looks great on one shelf together now.

I got some of the newer releases lately too. Got Megatron, Wheeljack, and Scorponok. And as a big highlight, I got the limited BB Nemesis Prime too!

Scorponok is the highlight of the group, he is really nice, nice transformation, lovely robot mode, awesome beast mode, he is great! He's good enough I even bought a 2nd for troopbuilding stuff.

Wheeljack is the weaksauce, the mainline toy solos his easily. His transformation is a pain, the wings are wrong, and he really did not need to be this difficult. also, why he no have right guns???

Megatron is a mixed bag. Robot mode is definitely stellar, they clearly made that mode with a lot of love and attention. Sadly though, as a transformer, he sucks. Alt modes are not good, and transformation is a pain, not to mention things in the alt modes just float basically. Also, his foot can easily get into yogurt in your lunchbox

Nemesis is gorgeous, love this deco a lot.

i also have some new pics of Grimlock, since he was deskbot the first, so he comes every year on my work anniversary to the office. He is still as lovely as the day I got him

Nice. I must admit they look better as a group than they do individually, except maybe Optimus and Jazz Mirage. For a subpar movie, we got some decent figures in the line.

As for the 2025 wave reveals, I am really curious about Leader Megatron.

Also, I hope we get a look at the combined Constructicons before the 1st set starts shipping. And I really wished we had gotten ALL the members in the same wave. 2 deluxes, 2 voyagers and the Commander set. Thanks, Hasblow.

But As of now, I'm definitely down for the Constructicons as well as Megatron, assuming it's not just another ER mold rerelease.

I had hoped we would get a brand new Astrotrain as the '25 Commander, but IIRC even a member of the design team stated that if we get Astrotrain in SS86 it would be just a reissue of the junkpile Siege figure, which wouldn't be screen accurate at all.

Preorders for SS 86 Swoop and other Recent Reveals

Swoop became almost instantly sold out from Amazon and Hasbro Pulse, the two places where many fans pay extra for free shipping. But he is still available for preorder at collector oriented sites like Big Bad Toy Store. The link is below. Amazon still has preorders available for the other Studio Series toys that were officially revealed at the same time as Swoop, along with the new TMNT crossover figure and the reissue of Ectotron.

Here are the links:

The minions ordered a pair through Pulse before they sold out. Hopefully they won't pull the rug out from under us, like they did with Snarl, and cancel one or both because they 'didn't make enough'.

I admit, I haven't seen Swoop this much in demand for a long time. He was always the goofiest looking, least popular Dinobot. Even in the cartoon they treated him like dirt, constantly having him get shot down and never beating any opponents. Nice to see him getting some appreciation for a change...

Well, totally missed the Swoop pre-order on Amazon. Hope he comes back in stock at some point.

For all the complaints I saw against him when he was revealed, he sold out amazingly fast. Don't think any other Dinobot has sold out this quickly.

In the G1 comics he was pretty badass, 2nd only to Grimlock. That's why I hope eventually we get a red version. We got a comics deco Grimlock, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I missed out on the preorders on Amazon and Pulse, but I never cared for blue Swoop, so I'll pick him up if I see him in a store. Only reason I need him is to complete the team anyway.

He's the only Dinobot other than Grimlock to get his own feature episode, two in fact since it was a two parter, "Desertion of the Dinobots". Between that and his ability to fly I've always considered him one of the most popular Dinobots.
