I'd really like to get a car Shatter too (another sweet muscle car), but it sounds like a terrible mold. So has anybody lucked out QC-wise and gotten a decent car Shatter? Or, are they pretty much all garbage?

I also have WW2 Bee as Centurion, nice.

My Shatter only has the arm issue with her right arm, her left arm stays on just fine, and I can transform her without it coming off because I'm already aware of that. I don't remember if there were more widespread QC issues than that, though. I didn't get my Shatter in-hand right when she released, so I wasn't paying as much attention as I would have. The vehicle mode is badass, so if you are mainly on board for the alt mode you probably won't be disappointed.

Sweet, I'm sold, especially after finding her on Amazon for $13. Should have her tomorrow.

I regret that I won't be able to open them up until maybe tomorrow. Stupid real-life!

I can't believe Amazon still don't have Drift and Dropkick in stock.

I'm surprised as well, it's strange

Got a gut feeling we’ll be seeing some fully combined Devastator action at the comic con coming up. After they previewed Scavenger I’m so hungry to see the rest!

They had better. I been waiting impatiently for months for a full proper Devastator look

I am loving this figure. He definitely has some hollow parts issues and the trailer and weapons needed more paint. But he is a dream from 8 years ago fulfilled, so I am happy that this dream came true in a mostly satisfying way.

And i love the central Prime figure too. This is the best the voyager has ended up.

And for a time you’re 8 again, and reminded why Transformers is the best. :-D

Good news, I think I’m like way older than you are and it’s still the same feeling after all these years.

Oh man that second Shockwave photo just about looks like a cgi render of the film character (not of the toy but the model in the film) besides the eye, he looks really damn good.

Scavenger also looks really cool as well, wonder how he will stack up in comparison to the ROTF toyline voyager Demolishor as a standalone figure.

That first photo though looks like a pile of scrap metal.

Ah, then it is a movie design. :P

Super excited for Shockwave! The vehicle mode pic isn’t from a very flattering angle, but I think it’s a big improvement over the original voyager’s vehicle mode.

Hopefully we get more images of the other figures in this wave soon, I need more pics of the new Bumblebee and Soundwave!

It's a strange tank design for sure, then again it wasn't in the movie so I don't really care.

Also it's a pretty bad angle of the design as well

Image

The tank is able to look good so it's not an inherently bad design

To be honest if a vehicle mode's gotta be sacrificed to get a fantastic looking robot mode then I'm fine with it.

Shockwave's looking good, though I'm probably not going to pick him up. But, if I find him at a good price, it might be worth it for a figure that looks that good

New Stock Images of Studio Series Leaders Shockwave and Scavenger

Fellow Seibertronian bacem has informed us of new images for next year's first two leader class toys in the Transformers Studio Series line. They are leader Shockwave and Scavenger. We previously had renders but these are stock images of the actual toys in their final deco. We see them both in their boxes and in their different modes, though the angle for Shockwave's alt mode is rather unflattering. Sadly, we do not have a good sense of their scale yet, which is rather important since the leader class has been all over the place in this line. It's still not clear just how big Scavenger is compared to his fellow movie Constructicons.

Both are due out early next year at wide retail at the standard $50 USD mark. The images come from In Demand Toys on Facebook.

I wonder what the little extra panel for Scavenger is used for, and whether it is just cosmetic for the alt mode or needed for forming Devy.

It looks to me like Scavengers wheels will be the big circular structures of Devastator's neck.

Probably alt mode bits like Scrapmetal

If that’s the case then that’s actually pretty clever!

I hope it at least goes somewhere in combined mode. It bugs me that there's no proper place in hand mode for Scrapmetal's little panel.

RotF Stratosphere came with one that seems like it'd probably be about the right scale, so you might want to check ebay or something?
