Still not sure about the other 2, but i am interested with that jeep bee, despite not a huge fan of bee. That robot mode looks clean enough for deluxe studio series standard, and the overall proportion looks good too.

These all look fantastic, though I think I'll only get Roadbuster. As much as I like Shatter my Studio Series Decepticon shelf is running out of space and I'd rather prioritize Soundwave, Mixmaster and Shockwave, and I'v already decided on the Wave 8 concept Camaro Bumblebee so I'll pass on this Jeep one. Hopefully Deluxe Topspin and Leadfoot aren't too far behind Roadbuster.

Roadbuster looks alright. Backpack looks a bit rough mind you, but overall he looks OK.

Shatter has a sublime robot mode, but the Harrier mode, oof. Could be the renders making it look worse to be fair, and the robot mode really is awesome, but having spent a lot of time around a real (albeit different model of) Harrier, it kinda pains me.

What really annoys me about Shatter though, is that we've had a mediocre car version and a good looking jet version, whilst Dropkick is the reverse- a kinda meh helicopter version with a cool car version. I was originally going to get both of them in car form, but then Shatter turned out to be a bit crap. So I either have them "mismatched" or accept that Shatter is gonna need mods to not suck.

Damn, first Airachnid, now Shatter. What is it with Hasbro and ballsing up the toys of really cool female Decepticons?

Bumblebee looks great, though it looks like the chest is fake, which kinda sucks.

The real question, though, is when do we get Blitzwing?

I need that Jet Shatter! Also, it appears that Jeep Bee is compatible with Volkswagen Bee, as evidenced by the unique ports on his arm

He never had one in the movie, did he? I always assumed he did because all the figures had one, but I don’t think it was actually in the movie. I do hope that Gatling gun can attach to his shoulder like in the movie, though.

No, he had it. He only used it briefly, however. There may be a few other points in the film for which he was seen using it, but the most noticeable scene (as well as the first one that comes to my mind) would be after it's revealed that the Autobots had not perished on the Exodus, when they appeared in time to save the humans from some random Decepticon Scouts. Roadbuster can be seen using his saw to quite brutally tear apart one of the aforementioned D. Scouts. :WRECKERS:

Aww hell yeah!!

Roadbuster looks really good, and I am super excited for more Wreckers. Bring us Leadfoot so we can complete the armored Trio!!

Shatter looks really good too, nails her triple changer body style, all the way down to the location of additional car parts and head. Looking forward to her. And now, we can have car Dropkick and jet Shatter transform between 2 modes, and look and be great, while the other mold for each can act as the 3rd vehicle mode.

Bee looks really good! They nailed that jeep look, which I really did enjoy in the movie. well done there, excited for him too.

all 3 are fantastic, thank you Studio Series! Now, bring on the final Constructicons in proper images!

Jeep Bee might be good for some head swaps for a Swindle or Hound so I might be after duplicates with both their alts being kinda bad in cw/siege.
Shatters jet looks a little off (probably because of deluxe sizing?) but I'll likely get her to go with Dropkick.
Roadbuster looks really nice but will be a pass.

I keep seeing this, and no please.

Let someone else have a jeep mode and make it cool. Not every jeep has to be the 2 G1 characters that had that mode.

and Bee works it far better than either, at least to me

I'm thinking CW Hound head (which CW Hound can then have a hardtop head) and get a Detritus out of the jeep bee unless hound/detritus gets an update in Earthrise.

Agreed on this. Personally hoped the jeep goes to entirely new character, but bee looks good enough wearing it, so i'll accept it.

I'd love a repaint/remold to have a Movie Strongarm in a jeep mode.

Official Images and Pre-Orders for Transformers Studio Series Offroad Bumblebee, Roadbuster, Shatter

PostPosted: Sun Dec 08, 2019 10:21 am
by D-Maximal_Primal
After the reveal yesterday from Preview's World, today we bring to you official images and pre-orders for the next wave of Studio Series deluxes, which consists of Jeep Bumblebee, Jet Shatter, and Roadbuster.

Both Bumblebee and Shatter come from the Bumblebee movie, released last year. Jeep Bumblebee is a take on the character as he appeared when he first came to Earth in that movie, transforming into a jeep in an attempt to escape the humans he accidentally crash landed into, and it's also the body that he fought Blitzwing in (who is still waiting on his Studio Series figure). Shatter meanwhile transforms into her second alt mode, a Harrier jet, and uses her robot mode body from the later part of the movie that incorporates both alt modes, whereas her first Studio Series figure was based on her initial Earth mode body. Roadbuster is based on the Wrecker character from 2011's Dark of the Moon, transforming into an armored version of Dale Earnhardt Junior's #88 Chevrolet.

Check out the images and descriptions below, and then after that see the pre-orders to get yours secured for next April!

Still havent bought any Studio Series Bumblebee. Because it was always more of the same. Except the bug. But I got the giant version and the legion one.
As for WW2 Bee, it was way too ugly and uninteresting. But that Jeep Bee, I'm in love! Even with the obvious faux-chest.

Hmm. Never liked the Bayverse stylings and monster-faces. But I know what I hate, and I don't hate these. I like each of them.

Bumblejeep looks alright, but I don't need another Bee.

Roadbuster and Shatter both look better than I expected though, I might grab them both. My car Shatter was alright, she isn't as bad QC-wise as other copies, but having the actual right head sculpt and less limited looking articulation are a good sell on this new one. I might have to go back and actually grab a car Dropkick now to go with her. I guess I'll use the alternate names from the concept art and credits for the Wreckers to give them unique names, so Roadbuster will be Amp, Topspin will be Tempest, and Leadfoot will be Target.

With some retooling jet Shatter would make an alright Slipstream, and that Jeep Bumblebee is a headswap and a redeco away from being a movie-verse G1 Hound.

Yes, thank you. Sorry about that, it's been a while since I've watched DOTM, but I knew the shuttle had had a name that sounded somewhat like what I had said; I just took a chance at what it was. #-o
