Not interested in Cliffjumper, but Topspin and ROTF Soundwave? Oh yeah.

I can’t imagine Topspin being much different from the DOTM Deluxe, it’s already a great figure.

Speaking of Topspin - this would never happen, but I would love a Topspin with a Leadfoot head, volleyball, and Simmons figure like that Bumblebee pack that came with Charlie and all the extra pieces. Maybe throw in a volleyball net too?

Cliffjumper might be nice to get. And did we already know about Blitzwing? I've been distracted with Siege, Earthrise, and Devastator and stopped paying attention to the rest of the Studio Series line

That is a nice mix of figures that need an update! We knew about most, but the new ones are pretty good, expect Cliffjumper, I had hoped that they would shunt the Beewun movie designs into the other Generations line instead of taking up space for characters like Dino.

Excited to see if we see these at Toy Fair. Also curious to see what they do with Soundwave, it would be cool to have him transform into a Silverado like he was originally designed to do.

Also, I took the Arcees to work yesterday. While they are a bit shite, I am really happy they exist as a legion 3-pack, I'm super happy to have them in my collection finally.

Leadfoot was also leaked from target so does that mean we will get topspin and leadfoot in the same wave. :michaelbay:

Honestly, with all the advancements and improvements that have been made with the deluxe movie Bumblebee designs since TLK, and especially with this one (compressed chest, thinned shins, bulkier forearms, fender bit sticking out less from thigh, more angled wings, etc.), I think we're nearing perfection. The only major advancement to be made now is fixing how far the wheels stick out to the sides from the back.

I've always considered Battle Blade Bumblebee the one to beat, who do they scale (I recall BBB being almost voyager in size tho).

Honestly, comparing actual Movie Bee's model, the HFTD Battle Blade Bee, and the above new Studio Series Bee, I think we've completely surpassed Battle Blade in terms of accuracy.

In terms of scale, Studio Series is much smaller.

That's fair. Idk... I was just so blown away with Battleblades Bee as a toy, he was a mini masterpiece like the downscaled voyager Prime.

In retrospect, no he's not particularly accurate, but still one of the best looking bees of the bunch for a *long* time. I still wish they'd release a bee with both the mask head, and the regular head. Whenever they try to integrate the mask... they haven't found a great way to do it... The MP-Bumblebee (Beatle) was pretty good, but it was also a clip on.

I wonder how much of this stuff we’ll see at toy fair. We know Devastator will be there, I’m guessing Skipjack and Sentinel will be the only new ones there (besides the newer constructicons). I’d love to be wrong and see a bunch of these new figures, though!

I agree, Sentinel and Skipjack will probably be the only new SS reveals at Toy Fair. The next wave of deluxes will likely be there too, though.

I'm hoping for the 4 voyagers and the next wave of deluxes past the Roadbuster wave. I would really hope to see the 3 wreckers together at Toy Fair too

Maybe we'll see Leadfoot, it's been a while since he was leaked.

Well let's consider last year: at this point we had Wave 1 released, and had seen the second Deluxe wave, Rampage, and Long Haul at either MCM London or something in Germany, I think. At this event, Hasbro displayed all of Waves 2 & 3 except maybe Rampage, plus Jetfire, DotM Megatron, Bonecrusher, and Jetfire combined with Prime.

So this year, Wave 1 is out, and we've seen the second Deluxe wave in a similar manner, plus Overload and Scrapper at Wonderfest and Skipjack in limb mode in an official Hasbro social media post telling people to check out the Wonderfest reveals of said figures. I think this is comparable enough that if Studio Series is only 3 waves again like last year, we're gonna see everything left in those waves again.

The only thing that really puts a wrench in the works is that last year, Hasbro had been much more liberal with it's WFC reveals before Toy Fair, so they just showed what was left to show of Wave 3 (since we saw at least Refraktor and Brunt way earlier), the fan vote guys, Thundercracker, Omega, and Jetfire. This year, we haven't even seen Wave 2 of Earthrise yet, so they may go nuts with WFC and show less SS stuff. Either way, we'll know in 2-3 days.

Very interesting analysis, the parallels do match up nicely. I hope you're right, SS deserves some of the spotlight. I think the reason Hasbro hasn't revealed as much of Earthrise compared to Siege at this point last year is because Earthrise is starting a few months later. Didn't Siege start releasing December 2018?

Is it typical for exclusives to be revealed independently? Can't say I've ever paid much attention to that.

Exclusive don't usually get revealed at Toy Fair, since it's still primarily an industry event for retailers and whatnot to see upcoming product and decide on, they don't usually show something off there if it's only coming to one retailer.

Groovy, another Soundwave that I "have" to buy :BANG_HEAD:

I think I remember reading this rumor and I'm definitely in for a better version of the RotF figure. I really like the SS DotM figure. I just placed it in the shrine and already missing it on my desk.

The news team definitely reported on the UPC for Satellite Soundwave being found, I've got the news credit to prove it.

Soundwave's solar panels/fins/whatever you want to call them remind me of Vector Prime.

When I first glanced the video thumbnail I thought it WAS Vector Prime at first! Even looking at the body I thought that for a moment. I thought it would have been cool but then it wouldn't really have made any damn sense.

Thought Soundwave was TLK Steelbane for a second!
Not super crazy about the robot mode, if the satellite mode is good and he comes with Ravage I might get him.

Sentinel on the other hand looks awesome, I don’t see a shield right now but hopefully he comes with one. The sword also looks like it has a hinge to fold into the single blade. Cant wait for better pics tomorrow!

That ROTF Soundwave looks nice, I like how they've carried over bits of his DOTM design (the shins look almost the same, and he still has those subwoofer things on his arms), plus the satellite panel behind his legs makes him look kind of like the knights from The Last Knight. Hopefully he'll come with a little Ravage figure.
