I’ve been spending a lot of quarantine time with the bots recently!

Ironhide may still be my favorite of the line. Just replayed the Ironhide v. Mixmaster fight in the DOTM game, which made me glad I got the upgrade kit for the heavy iron rifles.


I finally got around to adding some details to Blackout, they don’t show up too well but I added a lot of gunmetal, some gold and bronze details, and some gray to the face and hands.

I'm hoping my bots on the shelf can pose like that once they are unpacked. I'm hoping all the new space will give room to have them be more expressive on the shelf.

After hearing how negative people were on the mold at the start, I was OK with passing on him. But then i realized that SS is MY line, and started to back collect the few molds I passed on, and damn he is good. The transformation is insane and pretty dang good, like how did I pass for so long.

Makes me realize i cannot rely on too many people with regards to good movie toys

I think people are bothered by it just being a Stinger headswap with a new weapon; means the altmode is completely wrong.

Weirdly enough at my local target with Bonecrusher at the same time. My local store lags quite a bit and I almost never shop there because of it. But in this case, it worked out pretty well.

Weirdly enough at my local target with Bonecrusher at the same time. My local store lags quite a bit and I almost never shop there because of it. But in this case, it worked out pretty well.

Both local walmarts still have Helicopter Dropkick. Sad enough for him, his car mode self was beside his copter self and sold out, while copter is still there.

That was a pretty dang weak figure though, and it's disappointing that Drift ended up being the better use of the mold by far

I scored my heli-dropkick for $10 and am happy enough with it for that price. He's basically just cannon fodder in my collection. I am actually impressed with how skinny they were able to get the copter mode. Of course that made the arms ridiculously skinny, but like I said, good enough for cannon fodder.

Thanks to the Facebook page TFND - Transformers Never Die, we have a ton of brand new images to share with you today of the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Sentinel Prime.

This new Sentinel Prime figure is a brand new voyager class mold, and is based on the characters appearance in the Dark of the Moon film from 2011. The traitorous Autobot is shown off in all his traitorous glory, complete with his sword, but no shield or cosmic rust cannon. We also see that his sword can split to become 2 different handheld units, or combine together to form his Darth Maul-esque sword. We also get a comparison with the Powered up version of Studio Series Optimus Prime and Jetfire.

Man, Sentinel has some really nice molded and painted detail. He just keeps looking better and better.

I never bought any of the other Sentinel figures, so I don't have much to compare it to, but this looks pretty slick. The weapon being able to separate is nice, because otherwise I've always thought it looked kind of awkward; shouldn't a two-bladed weapon have a longer handle, so you can use both hands when you need to?

Anyway, I digress. Looks cool, buying it, can't wait.

The short handle is technically movie-accurate, but yeah, practically speaking a double-bladed weapon should have a handle at least long enough for both hands, preferably longer. When using both hands, the wider apart you can place them (to a certain limit), the more leverage and power you can put into your swings.

TonTon's review for Overload!

Sentinel is a pretty sharp-looking figure, but to me there's too much black on his sides and legs. I understand the back kibble being black, but on screen his legs were entirely red, IIRC. Nonetheless, it's a great-looking piece.

Sentinel needs gray paint badly, and some additional red.

Agreed with this, they handled him so much better than the previous voyager figure, the engineering looks fantastic
