In America, there are no shortage of Barricades.

Interesting. Is the Ford Mustang particularly prominent in Filipino pop culture?

not reaaly it's just that the police vehicle is very eye cathing and here barricade appears at least once a week and people go run for their lives to fight over one...

believe it or not there is one store who sell barricade for 2000 pesos it's like 42$ in convertion to dollars and i dont think that's right just because the figure is rare, even before the movie is shown bb and barricade always doesnt show up on the shelves... especially now...

Yeah, I've got a Deluxe Barricade. I like it a lot, only problems I have with it are that the punching action is hard to activate - the button is kinda hard to work; and that it's impossible to change it back to vehicle mode - the legs are very stubborn. I mean, you can do it eventually, but.... y'know.

It's the Ford Mustang, plus (a BIG plus) the toy car-mode is very impressive. I have a friend who collects car models, and he simply can't resist Barricade. Never mind if the robot is good or not. The car, the police details, the natural "shine" of black plastic... Unfortunately, it costs a limb in Philippine market. And very hard to find. Most shops will only sell a Barricade, if packaged with, say, 2 or 3 other deluxe figures. And no discounts at that.

So me and my friend just opted to wait for a good timing and purchased our Barricades from Amazon at $9.99, with FREE delivery!

Impossible to find BB and Barricade in Toy Kingdom and SM Malls. They're usually flooded with Protoforms. Geezz!

The only way to find them is to go to Hobby Shops. And prepare to be robbed of your month's salary.

I got my 08 BB from Robinsons Galleria.

A few pieces arrived one day (I think 3 pieces). Luckily a friend happens to be at the shop when they arrived. He instantly grabbed one, and called me up thru mobile phone. (I was out of town) By the time i told him i want it, which is about 8 and half seconds later, all BB's were gone. And a few more guys stood by patiently staring at my friend's hand, hoping he'd put it back on the shelf. They'd probably tear each other apart for it.

Sorry guys, i want it. So i got it! 8)

We have tonnes of baricade and bb here in Eire, as a matter of fact it is all some stores have!

Jazz is the tough one to get here, I finally picked one up last week-the first i have seen in the flesh!

I bought a Barricade... hated it, put it online and sold it in like fifteen minutes.

The Cop car's cool in the movie but the robot design and toy are a dud in my opinion.

I have this thought that mostly left-overs, or slow moving items are shipped to the Philippines. (a common situation with practically any kinds of goods) Hot items are held back for home court.

Which explains why there's BB and Barricade in abundance in USA, while extremely scarce in the Philippines.

And a sea of Protoforms floods the major department store (Toy Kingdom, SM Malls, etc.) offering scarcely anything else.

Not mass produced. I think only 3 units of BB 08 came that day. And in a matter of minutes, sold out!

Another good place to scout is an unknown shop in Robinsons Ermita. Right at the entry of the arcade gaming section, there's a toy shop to your right. Not very prominently situated. But offers quite an impressive collection of Deluxe/Scout class.

I haven't seen BB yet in that shop. But they have more Deluxe/Scout than the average Toy Kingdom/SM Malls.
