I've been thinking about picking this one up. I've been able to find a couple at retail and it looks nice, but I've heard some people say that it's a flimsy toy. What are your opinions on it and is it worth a purchase?

It is not too bad. The joints are loose though.

Not nearly as bad as G.I. Joe Megatron. At least Prime has more durability & doesn't fall apart like Megs. Although I will agree w/Hotrod that he is loose. Loose enough to fall apart if you drop him. Still, he makes a nice addition to the WWI figures.

Unlike some figures who seem to have the same flaws across the board, Titanium WWi Prime seems to have varying loose joints. I mean they all seem to have loose joints, but some are far worse than others.
A friend of mine and I got our WWi Primes at the same time from the same store. His figures left arm barely stayed attached until a layer or nail polish was added, my arms are loose, but neither have ever fallen off just from hanging there.

Overall though WWi Prime is an excellent figure, made form a beautiful design. AS with all titaniums, be careful with them as the paint does chip off fairly easily, but other than that and the loose joints, he is a very nice looking figure.

I got him & megs when they first came out. The fact that a toy was made from the bad ass design in a comic was great and it looks very cool so it's worth owning. Still the warnings of loose joints are true, the arms are flimsy at the shoulder joint from the start. Basicly they put me off to buying anymore tit transformers. I still might pick up a scourge though.

Absolutely not worth it, I loved War Within but the titanium line was a huge blunder that doesnt do it justice.

Ordered him, saw him, sent him back. The inability to properly add paint apps on whatever metal they are using makes the toy ugly. Like a reject from a kitbash class.

I cancelled all my orders of Titanium once I received prime, all but The Fallen since it is unlikely we will ever see another mold of this great character.

In the end, its a shame, a WW line using traditional plastic molds would have been amazing, even if the series never truly wrapped up.

Cruddy paint apps and loose joints but over all, a great figure.

Where exactly did you find this at retail? I'd love to pick this up.

Well he is an awesome looking figuere but his joints are looseands his left arm keeps falling out of place. The titaniums got better as they went along the worst one is the GI Joe Megatron he falls apart just looking at him the WWI Megatron is a nice figure though and displays nicely with the Warwithin Prime if you want him for display purposes only then by all means get him but if you do buy him then you need WWI Megatron to go with him.

LOL, I'm planning to buy him!(even if he is a flimsy ragdoll) - I like his bot mode's look way more then the WW Megs.
