Masterpiece Bumblebee paint app issue

I recently ordered a Masterpiece Bumblebee (Takara version) off ebay for a very good price.
The package looks intact and the toy is great besides some minor paint app issues, namely the the autobot insignia on the chest https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KPwEpQGz8z4rZACSnZ7zpUDIoazEPjMQ).
What is a good way of fixing this?

on my MP-21 started coming off after transforming it just a few times. Haven't transformed it since because I'm terrified of more paint coming off. I'm guessing the solution is painting it, but I'd have to find the right shade of red and even then I don't know if I'm brave enough to paint a masterpiece figure. If someone does have a good solution, let me know!
