I have to say that after working on the Buster/Hydra and Dreadwind/Darkwing galleries that I almost feel like the Jetfire mold was originally designed with these guys in mind. There are a lot of things that I think are more a nod to the Darkwing mold than to Dreadwind or Jetfire. The wings, the guns ... I hope the Collector's Club puts out a Club exclusive Darkwing. This mold would be perfect for him, not to mention he's apparently just about the only one who likes Dreadwind.

I'm really hoping for some type of slight remold from Darkwing so that he slots into the top Dreadwind where the Jetpack goes in. That would be fantastic.

You're not the only one hoping for Darkwing. :D

I hope you took some great shots of Dark/Dread meeting Hydra/Buster.

The poor Turbomasters... once in the running for Gallery #1000, and still have not been sighted nearly 300 galleries later... :P

Looking forward to the G1 galleries, Im already jealous enough about the botcon figures.

PLEASE keep reminding me about these figures. I really want to get my camera on them ... they just keep getting trumped. I've never transformed a Turbomaster or Predator before. I really, really want to do their galleries and get them out of their boxes finally.

You know who else is on my list of figures that I've been dying to open since I got him a couple of years ago? Tako Tank.

The good news is I'm running out of old school G1 figures and reissues to do. Hopefully I'll get to some of these figures in the near future. August?

I finished the galleries for the BotCon figures this morning. I sadly packed up all of my Classics figures into Ziplock baggies and into their tub as well as all of the new BotCon figures. I wish I had the space to put them all on display but I've got too many other figures/galleries to open and work on at this point in time.

On that note, I started working on the new Bumblebee, Arcee, Dreadwing and the Booster X10 (Laserbeak) galleries tonight. I'm just about done with the new Bumblebee's gallery and I'm 1/2 way done with Dreadwing and Arcee's galleries (i.e. I just need to take pics of them in robot mode).

I will probably mix the new movie galleries in with posting the BotCon galleries to make everyone happy. I think the new Bumblebee and Arcee figures are my first priority based on how popular those two figures are.

Stay tuned for a whole slew of new galleries this week. I've got a ton of work ahead of me. :D

Oh, and I also figured out the other day what was causing that weird tint in a lot of the photos from the past couple of months. I had switched to 60 Watt GE Reveal light bulbs from the normal 75 Watt for the ones that point at the background. Ugh. I think I had run out of 75s at some point so swapped them with 60s and then forgot that I had done that. I bought new 75s last week and the latest galleries have a more solid or slightly bluish/grayish tint instead of that reddish tint.

One more thing ... if you guys don't have the new Bumblebee figure yet, he's my all-time new favorite figure. Wow. I just love this thing. The number of photos in his gallery will give you guys an idea of how much I love this figure. I couldn't stop taking photos of him. He's incredible ... and it helps to be able to visualize him now that I've seen the movie. He is the first movie figure that I've done a gallery of since I've seen the movie. I have some great pics of him with the other Autobots, in car mode versus Barricade (c'mon ... you know we all wanted to see the new Camaro go head-to-head against the new Mustang), and all sorts of other fun pics.

I also did a real fun scene with Arcee. As many of you know, Arcee's big role was supposed to be the one where Lennox rides the crotch rocket under Blackout and takes him out. Well, that crotch rocket was supposed to be none other than Arcee. After recently receiving some of the new 25th Anniversary GI Joe figures, I decided to use Duke and Roadblock as fill-ins for Lennox and Epps since Hasbro didn't give us Human figures. Arcee is *almost* perfect for Duke to ride her in vehicle mode ... good enough to pull off for some fun pics of them attacking Blackout. They turned out pretty good. I can't wait until you guys can see them.

Sounds spiffy, hopefully the '08 BB gallery will help ease the pain of the lack of availability.
