Why get one? What does he do, anything?

Cuz hes Ultimate. Duh. XD kidding. I don't know. When I look at the pictures, I get the impression its made out of metal?

And I just finished playing with the game, for today, and I just thought of something. Ultimate Bumblebee's eyes should glow, just like in the game. Now THAT would be really cooooool.

From the pictures, i think Ultimate BB is a little stiff. Solid blocky body.

And no car interior to speak of. (At least Alternators series got decent in and out car.)

Being Ultimate should at least beat Alternators.

He's ultimate in gimmicks only. He lights up and moves his arms and wings a bit but compared to the deluxe 2008 Bumblebee, he's anything but.

there was a link at tfw2005.com about how ultimatee bb is transformed and what he does on both bot and alt mode but i bet all of those features will make the toy expensive... it moves, lights (both alt and bot mode) and talks!

I can't tell you how many times gimmick like lights and sounds have ruined a figure, I wish they made the Ultimate Bumblebee like the masterpiece series, with the light effect (if any) was just an afterthought, making the toy itself look drop-dead gorgeous in both modes.

Just a heads up, walmart has pre-orders on this for $79.98 or something like that. At least $10 or $20 cheaper than other places...

i'll just hunt the 08 bb's... they are the trend right now

The electronics and battery pack take up a lot of room that could have been used to create BB's interior. He could BE an Alternator, and a really good one if it weren't for those lights and sounds stuff. This is one thing that just ruins Leader Prime. He would have a better transformation, and an interior if he didn't honk, and have his boobs light up.

Well, if you are like me, than you like all things Bumblebee and will be getting it to add to your collection. That and it is has been way to long since Bumblebee got some love from Hasbro, so I have to enjoy it while it is here. Now if only Takara will make a MP Bumblebee, G1 style, then all will be right in the Transformers universe.

Unlikely that they're release a MP Bumblebee anytime soon, since he's not at all popular in Japan.

The Deluxe Concept Camaro Bumblebee most definitely looks better than the Ultimate Bumblebee. There's a lot of potential in the Ultimate Bumblebee -- wasted potential. They could have had an MP, but they blew it.

Anyone know if Ultimate BB has battle visors that can be slid down just like in the move, and whether he has (finally for the movie line!) movie accurate weapons/ equipment?

Mask? Not sure.
Weapon? Hardly. It looks like they shortened his arm cannon so that it would fit into his car mode properly. It looks stubby and awful.
