I've seen some bad tank modes, but I think that takes the cake.

So Cyberverse Spark Armor lets them enter a Shattered Glass dimension where Megatron and a drone combine into reverse-color-Battletrap, and Meg's crotch is super-prominent because it doesn't have strategically-placed alt-mode weapon kibble!

The more I see of this subline, the more I like it! It's like Power Core Combiners and RID Energon Armor merged to spawn a litter of the most bizarre mutations known to Cybertronian life!

Agreed his hands are obviously exposed and his crotch is left wide open.
Even movie 2009 ROTF megatron was a lot better since his limbs werent exposed despite being a cybertronian tank.

I'm wondering if Meg's arms can rotated 180° so that they cover his torso better?

Most likely yes. But it's a shame that such a well detailed toy has to suffer in vehicle mode just to make him easy enough for kids to use alongside with his giant gimmick helicopter.

The new Transformers Cyberverse Spark Armor Optimus Prime with Ark Armor in Australian retail!

This figure is almost Leader Class size, making him what the younglings call "an absolute unit", and includes an out-of-scale Ark that can turn into armor for this Prime. He was spotted at Big W in Morayfield. Supposedly, this figure will be a Big W exclusive in Australia. We have mirrored images for your convenience.

Are you interested in this? Or were you more interested in the MPMs above? Tell us in the discussion below.

Those shelves look so warm and cuddly.
That’s right, I’m taking “shelf warming” back! I’m turning it around.
That’s the kind of shelf the kind of properly warmed shelf I want at my store.
That’s not a shelf, that’s a hearth.

Still, that Optimus is HUGE!
I'll have to skip on it due to it's size. But the kids will love it for sure!

thread was cleaned up to keep things on track, if anyone has any questions, you can reach me by PM.

That Optimus is pretty cool but the alt mode is beyond weak. And I dont need another big optimus in my house.

That's my main issue. Also why I'm still hesitant for Siege Omega Supreme.

This line feels like a solid step backwards in age from even RID it’s just aimed at too young an audience for me to really dive into. I mean it’s for kids so young they can apparently only transform half a Transformer they don’t even bother with the other half on most of these.

I'm in the same boat as you, dude.

Personally, I don't WANT a collection that's TOO G1.

Some people do, and will dismiss the Cyberverse Shockwave as "kiddie stuff" but they're the ones missing out on a decent figure.

Cyb Shockwave has basic (and modern) articulation with a unique "vehicle" mode, never seen before in Trasformers toys.

And, Shockwave also appeared this way in the IDW comics, making the figure, technically, G1.

Again, I don't WANT a "PURE G1" collection, as I deem that quite boring.

There's nothing wrong with a "neo-G1" collection, and the Cyberverse Shockwave fits in perfectly.

Also, gotta love that extra eye on his forehead.

Cybertron Scrapmetal was a spider tank too.

Okay, first as of this very post:

 :michaelbay:

So I finally got my hands on some Cyberverse armor guys. Got the two I wanted the most, Starscream and Jetfire. Price was 20$CAN plus taxes each.

Image

So, how do they hold up?
Right of the bat, the posability is pretty damn fantastic!. That is, for Cyberverse standards. Paint aps are minimal, but suficient.

Image

The armor gimmick is more than basic, but it add play value aplenty. However, I predict a TON of incomplete bots flooding the secondary market in a decade or two. All those detachable parts are meant to be lost.

Image

Transformation is simple for both. Unfortunately, Starscream just do the "Superman" with his legs completely exposed. Lazy. Jetfire, however, have a more complete transformation by collapsing his legs and hiding his head. The armor gimmick don't work at all in vehicle mode unfortunately.

Image

Image

Starscream is nice enough and WAY superior than the "deluxe" version. However, Jetfire is the clear winner here.

Image

All that Jetfire love since a few years! :x

I was in a hurry so I should have taken a picture. Found yesterday.

First Global Sighting and Review of Cyberverse Spark Armor Jetfire and Starscream

Fellow Seibertronian Kanrabat spotted the new Cyberverse Spark Armor figures at Toysrus in Laval, Canada. Both Jetfire and Starscream were found for $20 CAD (on sale) and he gave us a review. We can finally see the articulation these figures have. Of note, these are smaller than deluxe class, similar in size to the smaller RID Activators from a few years ago.

Correction. At 20$CAN, that is the FULL PRICE. No sale.
So it's definitely the better deal compared to the "deluxe" fast-action-battlers that are priced the same. The Armor guys feel like genuine transformers and I'd buy more at full price without any hesitation. Hell, I may get them all! (Except that giant Optimus)

Forgot to mention that the had of those bots don't turn and only Starscream have a waist joint due to transformation. No wrists swivel too, but that was expected.

EDIT:
Heeeeeeyyyy……………. I can legit be that ass that claim "FIRST"!
