If Toaster doesn't turn out to be some sort of pyromaniac, I'll be very disappointed.

There's also his sister Karmen, who turns into a set of heated hair curlers.

Images of New Cyberverse Whirl and Bludgeon Toys and Sighting at Toysrus in Malaysia

Some images have surface on Autobase Aichi's Twitter and there is a lot to take in when new info is concerned.

Firstly, these are images of the Whirl and Bludgeon Cyberverse toys that we saw in a Takara supplier catalogue. We did not know what scale/class they were but now we do. Unlike what was thought by many, Whirl is a one step. As is Bludgeon, though that was already assumed. Bludgeon does have a sword accessory which can be placed in his hand. These were found in Malaysia, at Toysrus, in different packaging than previous one steps, along with a repackaged Bumblebee and Wheeljack. This new packaging is for not one but 2 sublines, one called Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures and another called Cyberverse Battle for Cybertron. It is unsure if this is just location dependent packaging changed, which we did see before. Of course, slight rebrands like this are always seen in the second year of cartoon based toylines to give indication to both the store and the parents buying the toys that these are the latest ones.

Maybe "Battle for Cybertron" is a new subline imprint that reflects the theme of the show's third season storyline, like how "Power of the Spark" was for Season 2.

But why would we get it over a year in advance?

Over a year? Why would season 3 come in 2021 instead of 2020?

Ah right, got confused there.

I'm not surprised Bludgeon has a removable sword, all the one step figures have some sort of attack gimmick, like Jazz who's a reshell of Prowl.

Pretty sure I will still pick up Whirl as a 1-step. He looks good enough

I think I'll give that figure a whirl as well, could be fun.

Thanks to our own ScottyP, we have word that the latest wave of Cyberverse Warrior Class figures is currently out at retail in the U.S.! They were found at a Walmart in Raleigh, North Carolina, for the near bargain price of $11.92. Scotty sent us photo proof of Jetfire on the shelves, and let us know that his wavemates Drift and a new-mold Bumblebee were also available.

Have you seen any new and/or highly anticipated figures out in the wild? Send us photo evidence in your email and as always, happy hunting to everyone looking for these figures!

Wait... There weren't any confirmed reports of him being at U.S. retail yet? I picked mine up at Walmart about 3-4 weeks ago.

once again seibertron.com is a day late and a dollar short. I've owned this jetfire (and drift) for the better part of 2 months now. this website isnt doing anybody any service by posting these sightings so late in the game. pick up the pace a little bit. this website seems to be more geared towards selling ad space and marked up toys. thanks, I guess...

Enough, if anyone has issues with the news, feel free to use the 'contact us' form.

Since you do have this toy, talk about it instead or provide something useful to the discussion.

Pleased to say that Jetfire's the best Warrior in the line, or at least the best since Shockwave. The only gimmick is the fastpacks and that's totally fine! Still small and a little hollow but that's all I expect anyways from this class.

Agreed. They could've released this as a Deluxe and I still would've bought it.

How do you find Gnaw, is he any good? He intrigues me. Is Drift in the same wave as this Jetfire?

I saw plenty of Drifts with Jetfire at Walmart a few nights ago, so they probably are in the same wave.

I have a quick question, Which of these spark armor wave figures offer best value for money on a low budget? (i can only afford one at a time this saturday, they're so expensive here)

    Bumblebee/Sea Storm
    Spark Armor Prowl
    Jetfire/Tank Cannon
Not sure with Sky-Byte too much clashing yellow.

Bumblebee/Sea Storm
or Spark Armor Prowl ?
Jetfire/Tank Cannon (I've heard of loose limbs)

Not sure with Sky-Byte too much clashing yellow.

In my honest opinion, you’re gunna want Shockwave if you can find him. The armor isn’t obtrusive, and aside from head articulation, nothing was sacrificed. Honestly I feel it to be better than the Warrior class one (but both are about to get outclassed by the new Deluxe one).

even if hot pink/purple spider tank shockwave was great enough...he's not available. It's mostly wave 1 warriors and wave 1 elites (big ones)

Skybyte is the best of those simply because of the transformation. The others are rather laclluster, especiallly jetfire.

I would highly recommend Sky Byte and Ratchet. Those 2 are really good, and Sky Byte makes an awesome shark, and the drill tank is cool

It's a shame about Jetfire, I have him and yeah his figure itself is pretty eh but his tank is in my opinion the best of the ones I handled (I have him Shockwave and Sky Byte)
