So Optimus then. He's a pretty decent figure. Not perfect, not a standout, but he's still pretty good. He moves and looks good, and I like the matrix blasting effect. The colors are also pretty sweet. the mix of black and blue on the legs is pretty sweet

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to an Eagle eyed twitter user, @Waspshot23, we have our first sighting of the new Ultimate Class Optimus Prime figure for the Transformers Cyberverse line in the UK! This toy features flip out Energon Armour like his wave mates, speaking of...

The user also spotted Ultra Class Clobber on the shelf next to Prime! She features the same gimmick as Optimus. Check out the image below!

This is what the twitter user had to say about the sighting:
@Waspshot23 wrote:Sad to report Clobber is tiny but that brick Optimus? Weighs a ton. Could club someone with it.

It's hard to tell which store this sighting was made at.

Will you be hunting either of these down? Do you want a Clobber to go with your Lugnut? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

today was a Megatron type day.

This figure is OK. not fantastic, but still good. His joints are a smidge loose, and he feels a bit thin compared to how I would like him to be, but he can pose pretty good, the tank mode is enjoyable, and the transformation is interesting, if a bit of a pain with the legs

Shockwave seems to have hollowed out Optimus Primes Chest and wearing him as armor... Ultimate figure at the Entertainer

Cyberverse Shockwave went to work last Friday. He's ok, has some nice paint work, but the mold is pretty weak, easily my least favorite of the 4 new deluxes. He was improved greatly when i discovered I could remove his hose from the gun, but he's still kinda just eh

How does he compare to the Warrior, which was a very decent figure?

So I got Clobber today, and wanted to take a few to talk about her.

For one thing, it is super cool to have another female Con bruiser. 2 it is great to have gotten a toy of a minor character in this line. 3 she is pretty good figure by herself. I wish her head could move a little, but the arms and legs can move so she still poses pretty well! The armor gimmick is kinda cool and doesn't inhibit her really at all, so it's a nice bonus.

She is good, worth the price point, and worth a pickup if you can get her. It also makes me excited for the Rack n' Ruin in this size!

I dunno that I'd call her a "minor" character. "Secondary", at least. She and Lockdown and pretty much the Jessie and James of this show. ;)

Regarding articulation and paint job he is leagues beyond the Warrior. And it adds quite a bit of complexity in comparison as well. For instance, the warrior had 0 change for his hands turning into spider tank feet while with the deluxe you open up panels to store away the hands and replace them with actual feet making the parts look different in both modes. And it adds the mandibles to the transformation making the front of the tank different than just the robot chest flipped up.

ahhh it was such a nice surprise to walk into K-Mart today and actually find something new that I wanted.

In this instance, the first four build-a-figure figures. They went straight to lay-buy!

Nicer but not the dramatic improvement that the other three are. The biggest difference is the amount of articulation.

I think a Shockwave in every assortment can stop now (or after the upcoming big one), he's been done so often and they're all very similar toys. Not a design worthy of all the refinement.

Did post this in the “Sightings Forum” for my state but just wanted to share on here. Cool seeing these in person, Clobber definitely looks pretty neat.

This right here. He has got a lot of toys, but they really aren't much different from either other in terms of what they do, and his design here is nowhere near as cool as the space battleship

is it just me or do the new deluxes feel like...
Transformers: Fast Times at Primus High

When they were so young and beautiful and amazing and played sports and rivaled for girls and worried only about Cyberprom and rust-acne?
When everyone gets a growth spurt over summer vaycay. (Everyone but Bumblebee)
Back in those far off wonder years, 5.7 million years ago.
