The Target near me had two of the seeker set, and while I hadn't thought a second about this line, I really did like the look of what I could see in the packaging...
The alt modes looked really cool, and the color schemes and paint apps were awesome.
I picked up a Siege Hotlink at Walmart, but I'm considering taking him back. If I do, I may go for that set.

New Video Review of Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Arcee

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user and YouTube toy reviewer, chuckdawg1999has dropped another video review, this time for Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Arcee!

This is what chuck has to say about the latest addition to the Cyberverse Deluxe line.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Arcee is the latest addition to the Cyberverse Deluxe sub-line, Generations style articulated versions of characters from the Cyberverse cartoon. While mostly a shellformer, Arcee compacts nicely into a stylized car mode. I'm very happy with the figure as the joints are nice and tight and support the weight of the backpack well. If you want to complete Maccadam you'll need to buy Arcee anyway, but you're getting a solid figure too.

We've also embedded his video review so you can see the figure in action.

What do you think of the review? Do you have the figure in hand for yourself? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

Sightings and Video Reviews for Transformers Cyberverse Wildwheel and Meteorfire

The TF Addict has some cool reviews for us. These are for the newly released Transformers Cyberverse Battle Call Trooper Class Meteorfire and Wildwheel. Those are new characters introduced in the Cyberverse show and so far these are the only toys they will be getting.

These new toys, along with their wave mate Bumblebee, have been slowly popping up at Targets across the US in the past 2 weeks. They retail for 24.99. They were first found in Austria and have also been popping up in the UK at Smyths stores for £25 each.

I really love Meteorfire. He have a very G1 Victory / The Braves feel to him. I don't know if I'll ever buy him, but if I see him on sale live in store, it may likely be an impulse purchase. Even at full price even. For him, I don't mind the lack of articulations because it's like a G1 toy that they forgot to release 30 years ago and only NOW it's finally out. I like it.

As for Wildwheel, I'm disappointed. The vehicle is weird for his Western theme for starter. He would be WAY better as a classic muscle car from the 1970/80's. It doesn't make much sense to have a Earth style robot mode with a Cybertronian vehicle. Then, the partsforming hat is sad. All that space under the car for naught. And finally no articulations and the hollow-dollar-store legs syndrome. Wildwheel is a huge missed opportunity.

In the UK Entertainers doing £5 off a £25 spend so it is possible to get them for £20 each but not much time left on the deal:

I’m with you for the most part on Wildwheel, but you’ll never convince me that a removable hat on a cowboy toy is a bad idea.

It's an accessory that can easily be lost and it's essential for the robot's look. There's also the unforgivable sin to not being able to store it anywhere in the vehicle mode.

Time to seeker it up.

This is a pretty neat set. 4 figures, all with some pretty rad plastic and color schemes. The base mold itself is really simple, but it's still able to pose and move, and it looks pretty good. Feels light, but its a Warrior, not too surprised. Still not a half bad base mold.

Now for the individuals:

Starscream is truly a ghost, this feels like if he had survived his Quintesson judge conversion this would be his form. He feels like a ghost, it's neat. He'll look good with some light shining through him.

Thundercracker feels pretty plain, only translucent is on his blasters, and he feels a bit boring compared to the rest. Which is a shame since he is my nominal favorite character seeker.

Thrust is pretty dang nice, I love the color scheme on him. like TC his only translucent is on the blasters, but the colors are much more exciting on this one. Really enjoy. 2nd favorite of the set.

Skywarp however is the clear winner. Entirely translucent purple plastic for that warping effect, with green blasters! She is very nice, i really did this one. And the jet mode colors are really awesome too.

Overall, a decent set. Glad I got this one, and finally got some Cyberverse seekers. It's worth the pickup I think

They made Skywarp look a bit more like Nova Storm or Slipstream, the two other female purple Seekers. ;)

Really love the seekers set, my son would adore them! Does anyone know the best way to get a set of these as I live in the Uk! Have checked ebay but the mark up from sellers is double the retail!

You find double the retail on Ebay expensive?

Ha.

Indeed, you are new at this. Triple or even quadruple is the norm. Then add shipping, exchange rate, custom fees..................

Video Review for Transformers Cyberverse attle Call Trooper Bumblebee

We had video reviews for the new Transformers Cyberverse Battle Call figures Wildwheel and Meteorfire and now Chuckdawg has a review for the last figure of this class (that we know of), Bumblebee!

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Battle Call Trooper Bumblebee is an ok Ultra Class sized figure. There's really nothing new here as we've seen Bumblebee in every size class this line has to offer. The Battle Call gimmick is fun, but I feel it's lacking without an Officer Class figure to interact with it. While it might not be for everyone, I strongly recommend not paying the $45+ these figures are going for on eBay.

Not too bad for a Bee, with a very unique gimmick.

BUT WHY THE HOLLOW LEGS WITH NO FEET? :HEADHURTS:
Seriously, this ruin the figure completely. And as seen in the video, that Bee can barely stand up.

Lot of things are being sacrificed in this series. Looks like budget shortage or emphasis on gimmicks

wildwheel: no storage for hat.

warrior optimus: axe is too noticeable and those legs are chunky in truck mode

electronic bunblebee: are we seeing a return of the supreme cheetor mess, unnecessary light and barely stands?

As for electronics and foldup armor, ill pass, But i would love to own Arcee, she looks decent.

Just go for the Deluxes, then.

It is a good idea

Still i haven't found any good actual warrior/deluxe figures. Iceland is unlucky :BANG_HEAD:
No sign of new stuff til 2021 probably.
The newest we have are from cyberverse adventures are 1-Step Whirl and 1-Step Bludgeon (worst weapon gimmick ever, flapping wrist) and recolored sting shot Bumblebee's.

I have few elite class that i like (still they look like they are deluxe sized) i liked, the Grimlock (Crash Bash Armor)and Bumblebee (Ocean Fury) but i don't use the armors. CV Grimlock may be small is a decent G1 representative just needs a sword. PotP Voyager Grimlock is too chunky in t-rex mode for me.

My Pink Princess of Selfies has arrived. She is a pretty wonderful litle deluxe. i love the feel of the plastic, she and Bee feel the best in this aesthetic. The kibble kinda hinders the arms some, but she's pretty fun. And I am only a head away from completing Maccadam, who feels so much better with almost his whole self put together, much more solid to me.

also, Yippee-Ki-Yay Mother Function

Still love that they made Skywarp a lady. And that she is basically one of 2 named seekers to survive the show. Although I wish she would have talked or gotten to use her teleporting powers.

It's also cool since it sidestepped the normal trio, allowing Nova Storm to take that part for this run. Still wish we could get a toy of Alphastrike since they were partners.

This seeker set is pretty fun. I want to take some more pictures of the translucent plastics. Really wish Thrust and Thundercracker were the same levels of translucent, but it happens, and Skywarp and Screamer have good reasons to be translucent (teleporting and ghost).

Not many Cyberverse toys left in the line, and I want to go back and hunt down a couple older ones to make sure I get the characters. It was a great show, so I will enjoy the toys that I have got!

A thought just crossed my mind.

What if this Seeker set has everyone glowing because it represents the moment in Season 2 where Starscream is glowing with AllSpark energy while he takes the sparks of all the other Seekers, causing them to momentarily glow too as they all die?

'Twould also explain why Skywarp's figure looks more like Nova Storm.

Would not be surprised, even if the figures are using the Starscream season 3 "concept" figure (I use the term since it's a Cybertronian alt mode). It would only be missing Acid Storm then of the named seekers that were de-sparked.

Could also be the ghosts of said seekers Bumblebee encounters while with Meteorfire.

Speaking of which, should have him here soon. Hoping to find him in stores today but if not got him and Wild Wheel all but locked in online.

After those 2, the only Cyberverse figures left to get are Iaconus, Thunderhowl (potentially both), and the Repugnus set for me. Unless they actually do that Ultra Skullcruncher too that we had listings for.

Also trying to track down scout Shadow Striker, Ultra Slipstream, Warrior Windblade, and Spark Armor or warrior Jetfire. Kinda want to get a nice complete cast.

Also also, Cyberverse is proving to be great for repurposing dups of other figures. My TR Astrotrain is going to that shelf, as is a CW Dead End, RiD2015 Bludgeon and Twinferno, and either RTS or TR Perceptor, haven't decided there yet. Almost tempted to move my T30 Jetfire and TR Windblade there too for those 2, but I like how different the Cyberverse Windblade is and she had a decent toy out too, same with Jetfire, and both have decent Cyberverse figures whereas the aforementioned repurposings did not get a toy outside of Dead End.

I still wish we could get blind Cyberverse Perceptor as a toy. that might be my biggest regret that the line didn't give us.

Oh and Titan Iaconus and Croaton someday please
