For anyone still not convinced:

And his eyes totally used to be blue!

Well... Lightpiping was a nice idea, but if the eyes aren't going to be blue in the final product, I'm gonna end up painting over the yellow eyes so I can have the nice blue color

Just got Red Alert in from Pulse and I'm sad to see that the Cybertronian writing didn't make it onto the production figure! it looked so cool on the renders.

pity bout the hips, cos the aesthetic balance was better with the previous designs..

the arms are not an issue

the head was the first thing I noticed in the new pics. I'm just hoping it's an issue that won't be noticeable once we start moving and posing the figure round - might've always been there and wasn't visible unless the photo was taken straight on

I don't have a problem with how the new hips look, myself. Or the change to the upper arms.

I had the same thought.

Honestly, I'm sorta surprised it's taken this long for a Titan-class toy to end up needing a major revision like this. It's a risk with such large toys, sadly. Heck, the original Fort Max mold doesn't pass the drop test - that's why we never got an RiD import of Brave Max.

Some really blurry packaging shots of Bluestreak and SoundBlaster.

Dunno why I just realized that Soundblaster has the same retooled chest door that the G1 Soundblaster had, so now he can accommodate 2 cassettes :D

Can't confirm, but it seems a strong hunch now that those 35th anniversary figures will be the missing WFC 44-47

That's also my guess as well. So will they be Selects or something entirely different?

I'd likely something different, an odd choice to celebrate the 35th anniversary mind, prime and megs? No brainer, bluestreak and soundblaster? Not so much. Also strange that bluey would be the only Deluxe mold among the lot.

My guess is Bluestreak and Soundblaster are gap fillers jammed in to finish up the Siege line-up without adding actually adding additional figures.

If the 35th anny is a different line, that will spread the Datsun bros across three lines.

I thought the same thing, but looking at the video which gives multiple angles, it appears the head was indeed more flush to the body on the prototype. If they made the change to add more articulation, that's fine, but why does it have to be so unsightly? Look at Siege Jetfire's neck. It's a thing of beauty.

Bluestreak works for me as a celebratory guy. He was one of two my first and to this day favorite TFs of all time. And of course Hasbro is only in it to please ME! 8-} Image

When you're done cutting me down, could you help me put some air back in my tires, buddy?

OH! THAT BLUESTREAK LOOKS SO GOSH DARN GOOD!
Can't wait! Can't wait! Can't wait! :APPLAUSE:

Again, cant confirm, but a strong hunch these 35th seem like standard retail for Siege, just with different packaging. Of course since *standard retail* is pretty much reduced to 2 chains in the US at least, that doesn't mean much.

So, Siege Jetfire listing is back on Hasbro Pulse, but its a pre-order listing estimated for August 8th. So I wonder if that means that all other online retailers (besides Amazon and Pulse) who didn't get them on July 1 automatically get theirs pushed back to August as well? or will they get their supply sometime in July?

Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Bluestreak and Soundblaster Packaging Revealed

Fellow Seibertronian Black Hat has let us know of listings from Chinese on-line retailers stores shopee.tw and goods.ruten.com.tw showing Bluestreak and SoundBlaster in their Transformers 35th anniversary packaging. Unfortunately the current image quality is not the best but better official images will no doubt be debuting soon.

Bluestreak is a direct repaint of Prowl but with the much coveted shoulder cannons that will be included with both Smokescreen and Barricade.

And coming in hot from a reformatting looking like he's been doing some serious push ups and doubling up his chest capacity is the Soundwave retool SoundBlaster!

Will you be picking up the chattiest of the Autobot 'Seekers' to complete the Prowl/Smokesceen/Bluestreak trifecta? Will the shadowy Decepticon with the chest that's better than the rest round out your Siege Decepticon roster? Let us know in the forums and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Sorry, I'm only interested in kicking up some dust and running off to another thread to rinse and repeat with a false sense of "winning". I will toss you a few quarters for air though, pal ;)^

Anyway, I agree, BS does look very nice, but a little blurry and soft around the edges. Man, mold degradation set in fast. I guess Hasbro really is cutting corners. Joking aside, at first his front hood / chest spoiler looked larger, but after checking out Prowl, it's the same. He and Smokey really make Prowl look naked without any shoulder pew pews. A real bummer, but at least there are a few 3P options out there.

First thing I thought of when I saw Lancer was that she's ready to be appropriated by Destro's Iron Grenadiers...

side note but one of the few things I brought back from my trip to the US is something I had never seen before:

If any one s curious it tastes EXACTLY like what it says, it's just hard to imagine.

Well, I've never heard of those before! The one thing you won't find here is chocolate with toys in it. I always get kinder eggs when I'm traveling aboard. Then accidentally eat the toy and choke, the **** FDA was right :HEADHURTS:
