It's a great video but this isn't stop motion. You can tell that by the way Hound's foot is positioned when he's taking cover, as it's bent is a way that the toy simply cannot do. As well as the lighting on Sideswipe as Prime and Six-gun run past him is so clean that I would find it near impossible to replicate in stop motion.

I certainly think so. I'm more excited over the Exclusive version because the G1 figurea were some of my first G1, Ebay'd during my "Roleplay Figure" kick, byt before we knew about the exclusive set I was VERY happy with the retail relwase. And I woulda been happy with the exclusive set even withoutbthe extra bits.

Transformers War for Cybertron Fan Vote 3 Pack Video Review with Impactor, Holo Mirage, and Aragon

Thanks to Kevin Liu on YouTube we have a video review for the Transformers War for Cybertron Fan Vote 3 pack! The set includes Decepticon Impactor, Holo Mirage, and the Powerdasher Aragon. Decepticon Impactor has a different head mold than the main retail Autobot version release of the figure. The Decepticon version is much closer to the look the character had during his years in the IDW-verse whereas the Autobot version has a head sculpt which is very much stylized after his original UK G1 comics appearance. Holo Mirage is, well, not quite a hologram but is named such officially just the same. This is a translucent version of the main retail release of Mirage, this one with a different head sculpt which is much closer in likeness to his original G1 toy. Then, making multiple fans smile for the pure curveball deep cut from Transformers history and oddball nature of the character is Powerdasher Aragon. The Powerdashers were pull back and go motorized mailaway special offers from the early run of the G1 toys. This time around Aragon is a redux of Cog with a new head and paint job.

Enjoy the review and share your thoughts with the crew in the forums. And make sure to stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Hopefully Skydasher/Cromar is not far behind.

So, I got my Jetfire last night. I guess you can not love the cartoon take on the character, but hell if this isn't a great toy. Period. I love everything about it, down to how they worked the double-barrel mode of his gun into the design.

Roughly the same size as MP-22 Ultra Magnus, he absolutely towers over the other Siege figures, but doesn't look out of place.

I'm glad I spent the money (minus ten bucks from Amazon) on this great piece!

I found Jetfire at Wal Mart and almost got him until I realized I had some priorities that needed handling and could wait until Cyber Monday. *sigh* Adulting can be tough sometimes. :(

When you get the cash, hit up Amazon.com. If you have Prime, it's free shipping.

Whats the return window for Walmart?

3 months or 90 days, depending on who's manning Customer Service and how he interprets the date. >:oP

Good, then anyone just has to buy Jetfire next week and then 3 months later its black friday. They can buy a cheaper one anywhere then and use their original receipt to return it to walmart. And everyone wins since by that time, it will be the holiday season and I am sure people wont mind seeing a Jetfire on the shelves at Walmart.

How do you know it’ll be on sale then?

Ultimately, I think this is the concern I have that will keep me from getting Siege Jetfire. I realize that the scale is cartoon-accurate and likely justifies the cost, but I don’t think I want Shaquille O’Neal on the battlefield with Oompa-Loopas unless it’s Omega Supreme.

You dont. But at least you are hedging your bets that you own him and have 90 days to wait on a sale. The original user was talking about waiting to buy him on Back Friday, and I was just responding that buying him now wouldnt make a difference due to the the 90 day return window.

That's what I did for my Jetfire. But I went for TrU and their Club R warrantee instead.

Honestly, even if they are no sale by the 3 following months, I don't regret paying (almost) full price for it. (I'm a Club R member for the SECOND time and I used my "first timer" 10% off coupon for Jetfire.)

So far, no regrets at all. Siege Jetfire is GLORIOUS and he's the perfect centerpiece for my Classic Jetfire collection.

Grabbed my Off Road Patrol at Amazon. I remember someone in the forum mentioning them being on Amazon, but I couldn't find the post later and couldn't find them searching Amazon so I'm glad these turned up in the news. I also picked up Soundwave, I've only seen him in stores twice when he first came out and haven't seen him since in stores. Prices online (when you can find one) haven't been good so it was nice to see Amazon finally selling them for MSRP.

I do wonder what's going on with Amazon's prices. Not the Amazon sellers, but actual Amazon. They're usually really good about keeping prices at MSRP, but they've been selling Soundwave at $32.99 for the longest time and they've never had Sideswipe for less than $24.53 for no real reason.

And I really have to wonder what Hasbro is thinking only putting Soundwave in one wave even though there are more tapes coming. So far Soundwave and Apeface (for obvious reasons) are the only ones in only one wave so maybe they'll get a revision wave after wave 4?

Wave 1: Optimus Prime and Megatron
Wave 2: Soundwave and Starscream
Wave 3: Thundercreacker and Springer
Wave 3 Revision 1: Starscream and Springer (only seen this one myself)
Wave 3 Revision 2: Thundercracker and Megatron
Wave 4: Optimus Prime and Apeface
Hopefully Wave 4 Revision 1: Apeface and Soundwave

No, this in reference to one of Skyfire's jet effects.

Oh. My bad. Somebody was talking about crooked antennas over there...

To that end, though, my blast effects weren't crooked. My BOX was a bit mashed, but the blast effects were fine.

That was me, too!

MP-44 hasn't arrived yet, but if the antennas come defective I don't think I will try to fix them myself. It's too precious a piece, Takara or Amazon will have to make it right.

Skyfire is so awesome, I don't understand the light-piping though. He's got a backpack behind his head, better they had painted them.
And since he's kind of made like a Masterpiece I would have liked a smiling face plate, too. :))

I THINK they were hoping the clear panel in his forehead would allow light intovthe head, but that didnt work. They needed to do what thwy did woth Shockwave and put it on top of his noggin.
