I found him day before Thanksgiving at Target... One day after I finally opened the one I got from Amazon. Same Target has also had the new micromasters, Spinister, and Crosshairs, but no new battlemasters.

I picked up mine on 11/30/19. I thought I was late!! I've seen like 10 of them in Baltimore, MD since then.

I've not seen any of the new wave besides him, though.

You guys SERIOUSLY need a general news forum like TFW. Relying on people to fill out a form for sightings or having people contact news crew is just not working for you.

This dude, like most of your sightings, has been out for weeks.

This.

The way news is handled is a train wreck on here and it’s probably the same reason news is sometimes a week or two behind other sites

Is there anything more useless than sightings news stories though? "I'm the first one to find Botbots series 4 in a Target in Arizona!" Good for you? I don't live in Arizona, so who cares?

Sightings are just taking "first" comments in the replies and making them into a post.

Yerp, way better to frequent the sightings section to track figure movement

https://www.seibertron.com/sightings/location.php

and/or follow your local sightings thread (assuming anyone updates/posts there)

I did, and it is quite hilarious. I love teeth on a jet like this.

I'm super glad I didn't take many of the first Apeface impressions to heart, he is really fun. Still enjoying just swinging him from mode to mode

So I've been out of the loop on Transformers toys for a little while, but I saw this line in the store the other day and I was curious, is the toyline based on any current media (a new game, comic, etc.) or is it just a standalone toyline inspired by War for Cyberton?

It's its own new thing, telling its own story about the last day before the Ark launched off of Cybertron, taking its main inspiration from the first episode of the G1 cartoon, in which the characters had Cybertronian altmodes but retained the same robot modes that they would continue to have on Earth. The second line of the trilogy, Earthrise, will likewise tell its own story about the Ark's journey through space.

The new IDW comics have used designs based on the Siege toyline, but are mostly telling their own pre-war story. Meanwhile, a new Netflix series is being created for the War for Cybertron Trilogy toylines, with Season 1 based on the Siege line, while Season 2 will be based on the Earthrise line.

Unhelpful to these matters is how this Trilogy is titled "War for Cybertron", but is otherwise completely unrelated to the old 2010 video game of the same name.

I think it's cool when people complain about the availability of free information, especially from those who take time to volunteer it for them.

I've got my eye on you!

Its the internet, I'm pretty sure complaining rounds out the top 3 reasons the internet exists (along with cat videos and porn)

Cat videos have recently been replaced by baby yoda memes.

Another reason for me to enjoy Apeface. I love having him with his little mini-me too. The whole package is awesome

Do you have a source for the Netflix show? I'm interested for sure.

Since a lot of people are getting their Apefaces now, just a word of advice: be careful removing the shield from the jet. The long, clear plastic peg isn't very strong, I snapped mine right off removing the shield. There's just enough peg left to attach securely to the arm and it can still connect to the cockpit, but it's a bit of a bummer having the broken peg.
