Not quite the same, but it's all semantics:

Hasbro: Transformers Generations War For Cybertron Trilogy: Siege
TakaraTomy: Transformers Siege

All the latter did was inflate the "Transformers" part of the logo to make it stand out more, really... in addition to reusing the US card backs for Battle Masters it looks like. >:oP
I meant the name in the logo is the same. They're both "Transformers: Siege - War For Cybertron Trilogy"

Compare the following:

Same words, but Takara bizarrely saw fit to change the look of the logo's top half.

Yeah I noticed that. Also While Hasbro's packaging has TT logo, TT didn't bother to return the favor on their toys  the back is also interesting, they just slapped a white sticker with all TT legal verbiage/warnings etc... but only half covers the original hasbro card heh....

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there was a resounding sigh of disappointment at a basically 90% the same looking Ultra Magnus.

I am still interested in getting the 5 Battlemasters separately. I was able to get the others from Exclusive sets sold last year as long as I jumped on them fast, these might be a little harder to obtain though...

I only ordered the multipacks, and all three of those were delayed. I got a separate email for each, so don't read too much into it if only some show new dates at first.

I'm not waiting until June for my 3 Hotlinks. If USA scalpers get them first in the $60 range, then I'm cancelling.

Weird that we're all getting different ship dates. I didn't get any emails, but I now have 4 shipments coming:

To me the Takara box looks a little like a KO. Maybe because I'm just used to seeing Hasbro's packaging or maybe Hasbro's just looks aesthetically better to me. :-?

I'm hoping Hot Link shows up in store at some point. I'm hoping it'll be safe to go to stores at some point too though. :D

But I realized how I missed him when I did my order, I used the links from one of the articles here and they didn't have him in the list. :*(

Now I’m getting emails saying that Hound, Sideswipe, Mirage and Scrapface are all getting pushed back to 6/17. I’m really thinking about skipping this line.

I just came to post the same. All I'm getting is Mirage so I'm not too concerned. If they end up in stores maybe I'll get Scrapface. Gotta wonder if this is Coronavirus related.

Netflix Transformers Series Deluxe Figures Found in Canada while the US is Getting Delays

We have two news items for this repaint heavy toyline. Firstly, the first wave of deluxe figures for the Netflix Transformers series figures is out in Canadian Walmarts. The voyagers were also out a bit earlier and you can see some reviews here. Those deluxes consist of Chromia, Scrapface, Sideswipe, Decepticon Disguise Mirage and Hound. You can view reviews of those here.

For the US though, we have other news. We have received several e-mails from fans showing us that Walmart contacted them to let them know that their orders for the voyagers would be delayed. The delay seems to be until mid June. We don't know if the toys will show up in shelves before.

I assume that it is. Retailers are prioritizing groceries, medical, and other essential items. This entire market segment can't be a priority right now. I won't be surprised if the June date gets pushed as it gets closer.

I've received 6 emails from Walmart today, none of them matched what was actually on the site. Right now basically everything is listed as shipping 6/17, but the Magnus Spoiler Set is still 5/28.

Note that the pre-orders have been listed with a June release for a while now, it's just taken this long for the order status to catch up as we've come up to the original release date. I guess it was just wishful thinking that the earlier pre-orders were still being honored while newer pre-orders got the new date.

I was happy to get the delay email on Magnus, it reminded me to cancel the order.

Yeah, looks like Walmart is pushing back everything, not just the voyagers.

One of the emails said something about "The Manufacturer sets the release date" so it could be Walmart passing the buck, or Hasbro is having trouble getting product imported because of COVID restrictions or a minimal staff, or both.

But hey! It'll STILL be out before we hear another word on the TV show its trying to represent...

I wanted to put my opinion on how I think you could rework Siege Megatron into the greatest ER toy in existence (so far, at least.):

Invert his colors to black and purple,
Switch the treads out for wheels,
Give him his fusion cannon,
Do a shorter Prime-style knife blade,
Make his turret telescope a bit,
Add a connector to his front so that two Astrotrains (or just one in the middle), can pull him.
His alt-mode should now look like this: https://www.warhistoryonline.com/wp-con ... Modell.jpg And kaboom! What ER Megs should be.
What do you think? Would this work?
