Mirage doesn't look as much dirty as diseased.

Well, Mirage's deco is more about the "look evil"; the battle damage played second fiddle to that. His deco kinda reminds me of the purple camo on Cybertron Sky Shadow.

Which, given the nature of Decepticon!Mirage...

I **** love that mold. It always bothered me that we didn't get a Cybertron Jetfire in black, white and red.

Is it odd I'm hoping Chromia gets retooled into a Deluxe Elita-1? I mean, given that Elita-1 is a character in the show which doesn't appear in the original toyline it would make sense to add her to the show-specific subline. Plus I'm well aware many people didn't like the buff, combining, jet-based Elita-1 of POTP. Seems a deluxe of her would work better for the scale of the Siege and Earthrise stuff.

Elita could turn up as a Netflix sub line toy given she's in the show but it depends on her alt mode. Some people wouldn't be happy with Elita having Chromia's alt mode, so that could be the sticking point. How big was she in comparison to Optimus?

I'm really hoping for a new Elita-1 in this line but I don't think it would be a Chromia retool. If you watch the trailer, Chromia has the big backpack while Elita-1 has wing-like protrusions with a wheel inside each piece. They briefly show her legs, and I don't see any wheels. I wonder if she's a motorcycle like her movie version?

This subline has no retooling on the figures, and Bumblebee is not in it either even though he's in the trailer and even more popular thsn elita 1.
This is just rereleasing siege figures for those who want them but missed out while they were on the shelves originally.

Just because he's in the trailer...can you imagine the fan reaction if they decide to rerelease CC Jetfire with a dirty repaint

Pretty sure that's exactly how they apply the battle damage

Doesn't Jetfire already have "dirty" pants? So I guess it'd be an even dirtier Jetfire.

The big question is just how fast Wally would out that one on clearance? What did it take last time, a week after it hit shelves? I know I bought one, then turned around and returned and hot one on clearance.

This 100%. I would buy this on sight, even slathered in battle damage paint.

Ironhide was also mentioned somewhere, so that got me thinking... what if we get a Ratchet with a Marvel-accurate red helmet? I'd have to think about double dipping if that happened...

I'm still annoyed that Ratchet didn't come with a swappable head gimmick

Well, they could have made him use the Titan Master system. Ratchet and Ironhide with a Headmaster gimmick would be hilarious.

Just played with Netfix Hotlink. As expected, his colors are just GORGEOUS! Plus, he's much tighter all over than Starscream, including the infamous chest panel. Unfortunately there's no way to properly plug in the Targetmasters in jet mode. In jet mode we cannot plug in both the null-rays and the TM. Plus the TM plug in very loosely in the weapon ports in vehicle mode.

Still, I appreciate that there's two fire effects included that can go on both null rays and reactors of the jet. Overall, I would have regretted paying the full 60$can for it but for 50$can, it would be very well worth it. Because I got some other TM on secret clearance at 1$CAN each instead of the regular 8$CAN each, I consider that I had a mad bargain on the 60$CAN Netflix set.

So, all is good!

These 2 are paired up in my Earth Wars team, and after getting Dead End, decided to see if this would work in real life. And it does! I might just keep them as a pair for the Cyberverse shelf. Cratermaker makes for a pretty decent weapon

While the TMs do have somewhat slender pegs, it's mainly the SIEGE Seeker mold that's at fault there. The shoulder (which, if you follow the instructions, are where the guns mount in both modes) and wing 5mm ports are both loose; I had to employ the glue/finish tightening trick to get the guns to stay in satisfactorily. And the C.O.M.B.A.T. system is not implemented terribly well on that mold; the ports in the feet are damn near unusable, and the other ports are only optimized for robot mode. The mold could use an additional 5mm port in each half of the forward fuselage.

There's a cheesy solution with the figure as-is: Leave the hands out in altmode

Yeah, they didn't think things through with the ports in tetrajet mode. The ones on the arms and the wings are so close together, one can only use the tiniest guns. As the ones on the legs, they are blocked just enough to tease you.

But yeah, "hands out" is always a solution. I did it for TR voyager Optimus/Octane.

And speaking of which, have some pictures if anyone care. That's the only way I could manage to use BOTH pairs of Targetmasters and null-rays. All thanks to the 5mm ports in the Targetmasters themselves.

I like it. It's like Hotlink realized he wasn't aerodynamic anyway, so he decided to go all-out.

I thought I'd never have him but thanks to the tax return, I could get myself Siege Omega Supreme at last!

And man, is he impressive! Ridiculously posable for a bot of this size.

Image

It will seem odd, but I'm even more impressed by the base mode. Thanks to partforming, Omega look like a REAL base, not a bot just sitting down.

Image

This time around, no sticker sheet... But Reprolabels could come to the rescue if I ever want to fool around with stickers.
Sure, the tank is too big for the rails, but no biggie.

I added ER Ironworks and two teams of Micromasters (one from the special set) as Omega's crew. Unfortunately, there's no real way to plug in Ironwoks on the base, but just setting like this work. I work really well in fact!

I got Omega on Sale at Walmart online at 200$CAN plus taxes with free shipping. Worth that price? Well, yeah, at the very least. The days of 100$CAN Titans are long gone so I'm glad I didn't miss out.

Omega is such a great toy, glad you got him and are enjoying him.

Finally saw a couple Netflix deluxe's. Still no voyagers or the spoiler box

If you look on the top of Omega's calf, when in base mode, he does have a black ramp connector on each side that are flipped in for storage! They can be really stiff, so just wedge something under it to pull it up. Then you can attach Ironworks and make a city!
