So does anyone know what the weird clip-like things on the back of magnus' legs (before you curl the blue panels around them) are for? they definitely look to be used for something, maybe something down the road :-?

Maybe they're for Weaponizers?

Looking at it, I think it might be for holding optimus' ladders in place in vehicle mode for the upcoming retool :-?

can't wait for Omega Suprime!!! I just hope is as short as Trypticon, to keep Metrolplex in relative scale.

About Jetfire/skyfire, I feel he is a bit to tall for my favorite collection, I will keep the old one. I know transformers is not about scale for most fans, but... there you go MPs they are in scale, and I love scale and proportions. :CON: :CON: :CON:

Omega Supreme has already been said to be 2" so just as tall as metroplex and a bigger than his rival devy.

2' ;)

Though they technically said "2-foot scale" and we don't know if that's to the top of the head or the top of the "wings".

I was thinking it was to the top of the wings myself as I thought hasbro went to the tallest point with titan class. Also thanks for the correct  I'm much more comfortable with height in metric

As good as Starscream looks, I'm kinda hoping that in the lines after this the mold gets retooled/this mold's engineering/robotmode sculpt gets reused in a new mold to have an Earth jet mode, and we not only get Thundercracker and Skywarp again, but we also get Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, and other seekers, because as much as I would like to have Tetrajet seekers, I'm not entirely sure if I can justify having both Tetrajet seekers and Earth jet seekers in my collection if they do end up doing Earth jet seekers later on (more for space/budgetary reasons than for "logic" reasons or anything like that).

I really doubt this mold will be reused for Earth modes honestly. These are much taller, and I would think that a good non-combining seeker voyager mold would actually use the cockpit for the chest.

I am hoping for some coneheads though soon. they are noticeably absent in my Con ranks.

If I'm remembering correctly, you love to collect legions toys don't you? If so, Omega will scale perfectly with all of your legion toys!

Yeah, normally, though Hasbro and Takara Tomy gave two different heights for Jetfire, 11" and 300mm (nearly 12") respectively. They were pretty specific when they measured Ultra Magnus to this shoulder pylons so who knows? I hope they measured to Omega's wings, that' would put him closer to 22" to the top of his head which is a little closer to making him a good match for Devastator.

Springer looks great, can't wait to see the rest of his modes.

Also, a guy on TFW2005 has found a UPC code for a WFC Leader Astrotrain. I really hope this is true, since Astrotrain has always been one of my favorites.

Where was this confirmed?

You can very clearly see a gap where the panel flips around between the 2 faction symbols. That and hasbro already said this line has no stickers last toy fair.

They never said that. They said they heard the complaints towards stickers. That doesnt mean we have seen an end to them.

My point about the very noticeable gap still stands.

You talking about the grooves and greeble this entire line is known for having?

Guys... I think that symbol is molded in. As for detecting "gaps", around the symbol one line seems to be deeper than it should be, but the lighting really is making things hard to see.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I blew out the contrast in photoshop, and the shape around the symbol could conceivably rotate.
Surprised they haven't demonstrated this, if it is a feature, and how the 'deploy' feature works.

As expected, Springer looks hyper G1-accurate/blocky, so I'll stick with T30 Springer thanks. His weapons look decent, but that's about all I can give him.

Thundercracker looks better than I expected him to. I would consider picking him up, but I'm going to wait to see if the Seeker mold gets used as anyone I'm more interested in first (Ramjet, Acid Storm, Sunstorm), as so far my Seekers all have different bodies and I therefore am not sure I want to break that up with 2+ from the same mold.

What I find particularly interesting here is that Thundercracker seems to be missing his null rays, but is pictured with a Battlemaster we've not seen before. That's probably just a cross promotional picture, right?

Also, why a new Astrotrain already?

The third and fourth links are exactly the same, is there one missing or is there just an extra?

First look at Siege Springer, Thundercracker, and Red Alert from Walmart

Thanks to Seibertronian Jtprime17 we have our very first look at long since leaked Transformers Siege figures of Springer, Red Alert, and Thundercracker. The pictures are from BrickSeek which pulled the images from hidden listings on Walmart.com.

The most interesting is our first look at Voyager Springer! While it's only his helicopter mode we can instantly see that this figure is based on the original 1986 figure. As expected, Voyager WFC-S39 Thundercracker is a repaint of Starscream, but notably missing his null-rays, instead holding a recolored Battlemaster Blowpipe. WFC-S35 Red Alert is a retool of Sideswipe as we've seen in some art. He includes a unique weapon made from his light bar that appears to also be able to double as a gun.

Enjoy the photos below and click on each image for a link to the BrickSeek entry.

As a bonus we also have our first stock image of Leader Optimus Prime which has been designated as "WFC-S40 Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime" in the listing. You can see a video review for it here.

This is surely just a preview of things to come as we move into Toy Fair this weekend!
