Red alerts another easy pass, Springers looking good. TR Astrortrain does the job but it might be another pleasant surprise/ugrade like with Jetfire (even the henkai/classics Astrotrain is a fairly decent toy so its hard to imagine it going wrong).

No, that appears to be the date displayed on the top of the phone screen. Also that date is January 13th a date that has since past.

Also remember guys, Tarn is a location, just like Iacon which was Optimus' secret.

I used to think that but as time's gone on I've lost a lot of love for it. I still like it but I dunno. It was an awkward size for the character and the chopper was a bit junky and the car looked like the head of Count Duckula. I'd be happier with a deluxe figure. Maybe it's the IDW-style of the 30th I dislike but have some nostalgia for the Marvel Springer which this figure resembles more.

Yeah if you're not into the IDW design then this new one is a good option.

Personally, I'm not abandoning my love for the Nick Roche "skinny jeans style" designs just because Hasbro has ;)

Springer looks nice. It's almost as if the main line is becoming more and more "Masterpiecey."

(Still waiting for Takara to release the first figures from the line...)

Wish we could get an answer about Skyfire's symbol soon. He's featured on this new cover with the Decepticon tattoo again (surrounded by MP-44, MP-17+ and MP-29+.)

Thanks to Seibertronian Jtprime17 we have our very first look at long since leaked Transformers Siege figures of Springer, Red Alert, and Thundercracker. The pictures are from BrickSeek which pulled the images from hidden listings on Walmart.com.

The most interesting is our first look at Voyager Springer! While it's only his helicopter mode we can instantly see that this figure is based on the original 1986 figure. As expected, Voyager WFC-S39 Thundercracker is a repaint of Starscream, but notably missing his null-rays, instead holding a recolored Battlemaster Blowpipe. WFC-S35 Red Alert is a retool of Sideswipe as we've seen in some art. He includes a unique weapon made from his light bar that appears to also be able to double as a gun.

We have updates the article below with mroe oficial images of most of the missing modes from yesterday's pics. Now we see Springer's robot mode, but we are still missing an image of his car mode. Thanks to Deadput for this update.

Another Astrotrain?

And Springer looks nice, but why are we doing the same characters over and over when there are so many that haven't been revisited?

There’s been 2 Springer figures in 6 years. Hardly overdoing it.

Plus we’ve pretty much gotten everybody except autobot Targetmasters and a few headmasters. It’s not like there’s that many left to modernize. Literally 13 years of CHUG. It’s lasted longer than the original G1 run.

The well is drained clean.

But it is funny to hear people say “another of this character?” When a couple years ago people were throwing hissy fits that’ characters were being made into headmasters saying “that character isn’t a headmaster. Why are they doing this?”

Plus, this new one will fit in much better with the new Impactor, and he has the G1 aesthetic, so maybe he might fit better in CHUG too

Heck, I just made a skit lol:

Open And Play Big Spring: I'm more articulated, complicated, great quality, and still affordable. What do you have that's better than mine?

Siege Springer: (smirks) A headsculpt.

I liked the figure despite it being based on one of his designs and was just glad the face didn't resemble his style much cos I really truly hate the way he often draws TF faces. Usually too goofy, over the top cartoony and weird pointy nosed goblin-like for me. But yeah the figure is good. The size always did bug me though. He should be the tallest out of the Star Wars trio of him, Hot Rod and Arcee but not THAT much taller. He towered over their toys yet was a bit too short to stand with Masterpiece sized versions of them so I found it very annoying to display him with his most well known pals. I would hope this Siege one is one of the taller deluxes so it's still 'small' but tall enough to be larger that Generations Arcee and Titans Hot Rod. I do have a junker 30th Springer who I had previously customised to be a Hot Rod but yeah I was never happy with it and I removed the new parts and stripped most of the paint and it's just sitting about for parts or be a dead bot something. I dunno.

Wait what? I just read it's a voyager now? What? oh great now i gotta wait to see how it actually scales...

Also I should mention it's apparently an anime. And it's animated by rooster teeth.

I honestly have zero interest toward Thundercracker. Maybe if they make a SkyWarp I'll get interested.

Springer looks really cool. It's really nice seeing this guy after all these years. I may get him.

Red Alert looks cool. I don't need him. What I'd like to see is a Siege Sunstreaker. The combiner Wars one was a little lame and certainly didn't remind me of the actual character.

The Leader Optimus Prime looks super cool, and I'm getting this guy for sure. I love the homage to cybertron/Galaxyforce. Both modes look solid. Prime having yellow eyes is also a nice touch.

Ah yes, the very rare actual tranformation of a Transformer in MTMTE. Still, an actual Hasbro licensed toy is probably going to turn some heads, seeing as how this is one has several 3P versions already.

It's not really Tarn, as it's just Shockwaves password, as it's Tarn as in the city, not the character.

Astrotrain doesn't thrill me. I'll have to wait and see what he looks like to decide if he's going to replace the CW Astrotrain.

Springer I might get. I really like the Generations Springer, but the new one also looks good, and the new mold would further separate him from Sandstorm, as good of a retool as that was.

Hasbro is really making me think with some of these. :-?

Thanks for the heads up! I might go buy both now if I can find them for a decent price.
