Ouch! That is some rough art quality, even for the G1 cartoon's standards.

Still better than anything currently on CN, Nick, and most of Disney XD....

My local Walmart got rid of their Transformers section completely about a week after getting in some of the Siege line.

Many of the Walmarts in my area actually reorganized their toy aisles, and they didn’t label the sections correctly. Make certain to do a full walk-through of the aisles to ensure the sections in your stores didn’t just get moved.

I really can't wait to find out you're in right now. Your photos, and the sighting in Missouri have me out checking stores in Central Indiana. No luck so far, but we usually don't get things till a couple of weeks after the sightings. I did find a pass on a soundwave figure I just can't get into that mold. It's a nice robot mode, but give me that Transformers Prime spy plane almost any day over whatever that flying brick is.

Ultra Magnus looks good with that rocket launcher hammer, I'm still dying for good hammer for Siege Ultra Magnus and that might just do it. I plan to give my Ironhide the Cannons from Prime search account and would it be compression guns from the CW helicopter bold talking like to serve as his liquid nitrogen gun. So even if I don't let him keep his rocket launcher Hammer, my Ironhide is still going to be very well-armed

I think you're forgetting how large the Titans Retun deluxes are, Case in point here's Siege Sideswipe stood next to some Combiner Wars jet deluxes:

I disagree. You're comparing deluxe from 2 different lines. You should compare Siege to Siege. And going by the pics, Ironhide is a large deluxe, he stands a head above Sideswipe.

I choose not to since the name Deluxe has not changed from line to line. I am looking at Deluxe as a class in general.

Yes, but even by that measure wasn't TR Kup on the taller side of the deluxe class?

I thought the big deluxes were more along the lines of TR Wop Spin and Twin Twist. But if Kup is along the bigger ones, then sure I dont mind conceding.

Can confirm, Kup is among the tallest deluxes in TR, alongside Topspin/Twin Twist; most of the others are at least a good half-inch shorter.

Yeah, Kup is tall but skinny. The Jumpstarters are tall and beefy.

So if you consider Ironhide standard size as you said, do you consider Sideswipe undersized?

You know, like with Studio Series, we shouldn't equate each Size Class to a specified height, bulk, or maybe even weight. Rather, each Size Class now seems to have a lower and upper limit, all for the sake of wiggle room for scale purposes.

Of course, there's still space between the upper limit of one Class and the lower limit of the next, but it's smaller than we might be used to. I wonder, rather than calculating and budgeting per figure, if Hasbro now just goes by the total for each Class, and distributes parts of it according to a figure's needs... :-?

Hasbro has been budgetting per class since the days of Aaron Archer (what was said was "per wave" then but the waves now are different than waves then).

I was thinking of a sort of "head canon" scenario/battle with only the characters from the Siege line (in it's own universe so not G1 cartoon or IDW comics just it's own Siege universe so anyone can die) and was wondering what would make more sense with all the characters.

The Autobots conducting a smaller heist type Siege against a Decepticon base with a smaller amount but important host of Decepticons, or a big Decepticon raid type Siege against an Autobot city or something and the Autobots from the Siege line are the last of the base/city so no Autotroopers or other backup.

Guys from other toy lines are not involved in this battle so no Bumblebee, Battletrap or Bludgeon unless those characters are introduce in this line later, so yeah this can include any characters who haven't been announced yet, I'll add Skywarp since his toy is confirmed to be an exclusive via toy listings.

So Autobots would be:

Regular Troops: Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Jetfire, Prowl, Ironhide, Chromia, Impactor, Springer, Mirage, Hound, Sideswipe, Red Alert, Bluestreak (If that 30'th anniversary series counts), Six Gun, Cog, Greenlight, Omega Supreme.

Micromasters: Countdown, Roadhandler, Swindler, Topshot, Flak, Red Heat, Stakeout, Highjump, Powertrain.

Battle Masters: Firedrive, Lionizer, Pteraxadon, Smashdown, Dazlestrike

Decepticons would be this including generic Seekers to pad out the Cons since either way the Cons are meant to outnumber the Bots here:

Regular Troops: Megatron, Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Redwing (If Select series listing real), Refraktor (Spectro and Spyglass too), Skytread, Barricade, Brunt and maybe Combat Hero Megatron as his own character in terms of someone like Archforce.

Micromasters: Laserbeak, Ravage, Storm Cloud, Visper, Blackjack, Hyperdrive

Battle Masters: Blowpipe, Aimless, Caliburst

This is just for fun and was wondering what type of battle would people think most fitting, maybe even a scenario with none of the Battlemasters and Micromasters, or maybe the Micromasters are full sized Transformers themselves and ignore the toy scale, maybe everyone dies.

(Wanted to make this a separate post to not have it jumbled up with my unrelated post)

Does anyone else think that the recent Rid Bludgeon could make for a good Seige stand in figure minus the lack of Battle damage?

The non human looking tank works as a Cybertronian tank and he might be short compared to say Megatron or Soundwave from the line but I think short can work for Bludgeon as a lighting fast tank which would translate to the whole fast samurai sword skills thing.
