I am really looking forward to the Siege Omega Supreme. I love that he is as big as Metroplex of Fort Max. I hope they use this toy to retcon him to be as large as a city bot. I always thought the Guardian robots should be legendary and nigh indestructible enforcers of a much more ancient time. There should be a sense of "awe" about them as much as the Titans.

BAM!! Looks like we're getting these 2 fellas at some point... I have no idea if this has been mentioned here before. Look at Bluestreak's shoulders. I didn't realize they could move like that on Prowl as well. Ratchet looks pretty cool too, mang.

I don't know if this helps, but apparently every Target and Walmart in my area identifies UPC codes as a "one code applies to everything else" situation. As in, if I look up SS38, the store will lead me to that lone SS05 for some bizarre reason. I haven't found them reliable in my case, since apparently "in stock" doesn't have to refer to that specific item.

Anyone tried this alt transformation yet? Best I could do for a boombox type. Without an add-on or taking his arms off.

He's actually just a bit bigger than Titan class Devastator, who is much shorter than Metroplex and Fort Max.

They scaled Omega to size up to Devastator because of their little rivalry in a couple episodes of the cartoon.

Using those back pieces was a good idea for showcasing them as speakers. I actually pulled them completely off for both modes and threw them away. I have never put him in the mode that shows on the instructions. Also, use his foldable gun for megatons back. Does a WORLD of good for him

Did the same thing with Soundwave's pistol. Originally I pulled the blades off Megatron's sword, but that weapon was far too tall on his back. I wish Soundwave's pistol was wider, but the height is so perfect that I suspect it was made for this purpose.

I was just thinking the same thing wow. Synergy. But the plastic if not a perfect match is super close the height the orientation of the sighting on the tip I mean, dang.

He is really gratifying, and his head sculpt is fantastic! I think his eventual home is with my other Unicron Trilogy guys, and he is so cool. I love him!

I love the classic but this just has the articulation great proportions a great inner robot mode - with all that I can over look the wheels which are not wheels...because they’re galvaconductors.

I love hearing when a purchase of that amount is truly satisfying. ;)^

I'm quite torn: I like the Siege UM mold and this seems like a kickass retool. At the same time, however, I've already got more than one Optimus Prime and I try (often failing!) to stay at one version of each character, maybe two for the big guys like Optimus and Megatron, as I got their Siege and TR selves. So while I absolutely love the look on Galaxy Convoy I'm not sure if I should break my own rule. :-?

Man I’d go with your gut they’re both great but if you’re leaning one way I think the great thing is you kinda can’t lose. It’s a great mold get your A choice and who knows maybe it’ll win you over you know?

Should I get him, he'll have a reserved spot on the "smaller non-Legion Leader toy" shelf. It's mostly Deluxe-sized versions of larger characters (like "Bendy" Armada Prime or Deluxe DotM Optimus Prime) but they've become dying breed at this point.

Yes but shelf space and budget has limits.

Hey DMax I’m stealing your awesome idea nugget:
Who here would ever think a build a figure piece in every Siege box would be uh, amazing?
Weaponizers are practically that already.
I think that would be so cool.

I made that rule for myself once too right after TR Powermaster Prime, and already having the older deluxe Linebacker Prime and the CW red and white versions (4 by then). But Hasbro keep making interesting new primes, those crafty bastards. I did manage to skip the TR regular voyager, but got the Laser Prime version (5). Then Magnus Prime (6). And SDCC Primitive Skate Prime (7). Then those evil geniuses came up with a Pax Prime combo in the PotP leader (8). So by the time Siege came around, I was like "That's it, NO MORE PRIMES!!!!". And immediately bought the Siege Voyager (9). Sigh.

I will be skipping Cybertron prime however, just no connection or interest actually, not will power, I clearly have none of that.

See, now that i have a large portion of the more "regular" cast members in toy form, I try to buy only 1 version of a mold, unless it makes complete sense and I am lacking both, like how I have Sideswipe and Red Alert as I did not have a generations version of either.

Now when it comes to Prime, I end up getting what i think is cool and what is unique. I bought the Battlecore Prime form CW for his head and unique colors, and he makes a kickass super combiner. I did not get powermaster Prime or the retail Prime in TR, but i got the black and red G2 Prime from the boxset and i got super Ginrai/Magnus Prime to combine with Godbomber. I got PotP Prime cause he has Orion and he is essentially a MP in robot mode. I got the retail Siege Prime for an in-scale good Prime, and then this Galaxy Prime is a whole other concept, a power up armor based from the UT, so he is justified by being a totally unique design. It's also why i am getting Star Convoy, because it is in a way a different take and he's one of the Legendary Japanese G1 Leaders, so he will go with my near complete Supreme Commanders lineup.

All that to say: I think you should go for it. The alt mode and the super robot mode are unique from your regular Primes, and represent a different universe Prime, or even a totally different G1 take on him. He is far unique enough from Siege voyager Prime to be worth having both.

And his head sculpt kills. Prime needs more head sculpts with yellow/gold and/or silver.
