So with TRU's demise now imminent, what kind of deals should we expect and when do yall think they will start?

I'm hoping for a good deal on the right to beat the snot out of the shareholders and execs of the vulture-capitalist private equity firms responsible for this disaster.

Well, the first round of closings had just 10% off for quite a while, which basically pulls their prices in-line with Walmart and Target, so not much to get excited there. They had signs saying up to 30% off, but in reality almost everything was only at 10%. I would suspect a similar slow play out trying to get as much as possible, especially if there is a chance that the remaining US based TRU's might be bought. I don't think they will get bought, but as long as there is a possibility, they need to balance getting some money in from existing stock, but not completely leaving the existing locations barren if they do end up sold.
