Some really big news has just hit the interwebs regarding our first look at a figure from the upcoming Bumblebee movie! No less, this figure in particular is rumored to be a new Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee MPM 07 WITH a Volkswagen Beetle alternate mode! The single image, found on Baidu , shows the MPM's we already know of: Optimus Prime, Barricade, Bumblebee in his Camaro form, Ironhide, and one we've never seen before, a certain Volkswagen Bug! This figure is still just a grey prototype, but it's still big news! We previously knew we would get another Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee from earlier listings and this it our first look at it.

This will be the second Masterpiece figure officially licensed by VW, after the regular G1 MP Bumblebee! Check the photo out below and tell us if you'll be picking up this rumored figure when it hits shelves!

These are actually pictures of the oversized Knockoffs, based on other pictures I've seen. Note the hammer and sword next to mpm-3 and mpm-4 respectively.

VW Bee, eh? I was hoping that we'd get to have someone like MV1 Megatron, Ratchet, Starscream, or Jazz. Oh, well. Not a harmful addition as long as I can get Camaro Bee first.

What I am curious with are the hammer and sword next to Bee and Prime. Will we get AOE/TLK MPs soon? Or will there be variants of the pre-existing MPMs? If so, I hope we get a DOTM style Optimus!

How can they already be making an oversized knockoff of Ironhide and a yet to be revealed VW Beetle? I don't think that's G1 MP Bee, if it was and it was upscaled it would still be smaller than an upscaled MPM03 Bee.

I don't know how they do it, but here are pics of the oversized Bee and Barricade that are also seen in the picture. Also, Takara never made the hammer for MPM-3

So I went back to the source and stumbled through a terrible Google translation and you are absolutely correct, they are upscaled knockoffs. Apparently they're made from figures taken directly from the the Vietnam factory and now that I think about it that makes sense since the Bee movie got pushed back and the figures were supposed to be out now. I wouldn't be surprised if the VW mold was supposed to be shown at Toy Fair, I guess it'll be Hasbro's centerpiece for SDCC instead.

If this is an actual figure, I am really liking that Bee! Also, on the back of the VW Beetle, there appears to be some sort of accessory attached. I tried zooming in but the only thing I can make out of it is a gun with a wheel on it/ scooter gun/ stinger thing. Can anyone else tell us what you think it is? :-?

ya..... no, these are not over-sized KO's..... the ko company can't have gotten ironhide already and especially not a freaking yet to be shown off mold. Tho to be fair i wouldn't mind them being KO's, considering it would make them actually affordable.

If these are the real deal i am disappointed in Ironhide, he is too big compared to Prime.

All signs point to them being, what do people call them, OSKOs? The original source says they are, it also says they're from Vietnam which is where the Transformers factory is from, and Prime and Bee come with weapons they wouldn't have had in the movies these figures are based on.

Quite a few things we've seen galleries of lately were factory samples, you can tell by the code numbers stamped all over them. Ironhide and VW Bee may be a long ways from release, but they should be well into production thanks to the Bee movie sudden date change which also messed up the release order of the Studio Series according to Warden. No need to wait for release when you can just steal a figure from the factory and work from there.

looking at the size that would mean they already made a oversized vw bee, i highly doubt they did that so quickly. i still say it aint oversized ko's.

But they didn't do it quickly, they're still gray models, not as far along as the OSKOs of MPM 03, 04, and 05. Under the old movie release schedule and according to Warden at Toy Fair the Bee movie toys were supposed to be out NOW, but some things had to be juggled in the schedule like VW Bee being replaced in Studio Series wave one with Camaro Bee. They may not be in full production right now, but they should have at least gotten some complete test molds finished, that's all it takes to make a KO. If an entire Titan Predaking can be taken from the factory then one little MP car is nothing.
