Transformers Movie Series Tiny Turbo Changers Discussion

The Transformers: The Last Knight Toyline gave us series 1 and 2 of the Tiny Turbo Changers, and these were very much enjoyed by fans, especially due to their ability to Transform at such a small price point ($3 USD). Series 3 will be coming out as part of the Bumblebee Movie toyline and its listing was up on Amazon.ca (it has gone since then). Due to these being blind bags, the listing was for such a blind bag and thus gave the entire list of characters that you might get. Here is the list below:

Autobot Dino
Autobot Drift
Ironhide
Barricade
Sentinel Prime
Phantom Strike Lockdown
Silver Knight Optimus Prime
Evac
Autobot Ratchet
Bumblebee
Sky Rage Starscream
Dinobot Slug

That Autobot Dino is pretty great news to fans since this would make it the first ever transforming figure of Movie Dino (aka Mirage) released by Hasbro. It will likely not be licensed though since the only licenses last time were from Chevrolet and Western Star.

It is unknown if Evac refers to the helicopter or the all terrain vehicle. Below is the product description, let us know what you think in the discussion!

I hope these characters also return in the Studio Series, too.

Evac and Dino are must haves, slug maybe, depending on how he looks.

Which Evac do you think we are getting?

Just a reminder, Evac can refer to these 3 toys:

Transformers (2007) Evac Gallery

Image
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Evac Gallery

Image
Transformers Universal Studios Evac Gallery

... and I couldn't hazard a guess at which we'll be getting. A new mold, another redeco of Blackout? Who knows? Including yet another Bumblebee, that makes 4 re-released molds, same as Series 2

I know it isn't but the bot on the cover of the news story looked like a Bayverse Knockout for a second.

I hate being "this guy" but technically you are wrong, there was a transformable Dino/Mirage :BOT: figure released by Hasbro, I have said figure. Granted it is just a recolored version of Legends Class Sideways :CON: from ROTF, and was released in Prime packaging, but it is still declared a movie version figure of Dino :BOT:....even though he is named Mirage :BOT:.
But don't get me wrong I knew what you meant, since it "might" be a new mold based on Dino :BOT: and the fact that he will be released officially with the name of Dino :BOT:
Anyways I am really looking forward to the mini-figure (if I can find him that is), and maybe this will mean he will get a lager figure like a Deluxe Class in the Studio Series. :-?

I wish I could say universal studios evac but it probably would be the 2007 evac because it would be cheaper for hasbro since it would just be a redeco (or retool) of blackout.

I could see it either the 2007 Evac or the Transformers Ride Evac although I personally am expecting the one from the Ride, it's not like there isn't any presumably new molds in this wave.

Dino, Ironhide, Sentinel Prime, Ratchet and Slug would probably be new molds in this wave so I think it's possible the Evac is a new mold, not to say it couldn't be the 2007 version.

We have the first images of toys from the Bumblebee movie line, kind of. What we have are images of Transformers Tiny Turbo Changers Series 3 and while their listing has them as part of the Bumblebee Movie line, the movie is not referenced on the packaging or even in the choice of characters. Instead, these are simply labelled as Movie Edition, and even sport the Transformers Generations logo. A listing on NDA wholesalers has images of this series' content as well as images of the packaging and case display. These will retail for $2.99 in the US, $3.99 in Canada and £ 2.99 in the UK. They will be packed 24 per case. We only have images of the alt modes for now:

Image

In order from top left to bottom right we have:

Barricade

Sentinel Prime

Ironhide

Evac, who has neither of the previous alt modes associated with this movie verse characrter. He instead has the same alt mode as Crosshairs n this line, meaning that he is more akin to Age of Extinction's Hot Shot.

Autobot Drift, who is a blue redeco of the previous toy, to represent his Age of Extinction self.

Autobot Dino, who is a redeco of the previous Hot Rod toy in this line.

Phantom Strike Lockdown, who homages the animated clear plastic deco the character once sported.

Dinobot Slug

Silver Knight Optimus Prime

Autobot Ratchet

Bumblebee, sporting the modern sports car look and not the look he will have in the actual film this line is a part of.

Sky Rage Starscream

Hmm, overall these aren't bad. Hopefully, Evac and Dino/Mirage have new faces. For Sky Rage Starscream, I'm surprised that he wasn't based of Skywarp but Red Wing of all Seekers. Also why is Ratchet's grill red? Is there a point to that? And why is Slug's patina coloring is a huge chunk on the head? Shouldn't it, y'know, be a little more spread out on his back? Whatev's, I shouldn't be complainin' much anyway, I mean these are cool little bling bag toys. And to be honest these, like I said, don't look that bad.

Remind me to hold my tongue when stuff are leaked, I am disappointed. Might still get slug and sentinel looks a lot better than expected.

Transformers Tiny Titans Series 3 Packaging and Codes to Tell Wh

PostPosted: Fri Apr 13, 2018 2:57 pm
by WreckerJack
Transformers Tiny Titans Series 3 has been revealed. We have some images of the packaging that they come in that has pictures of what the figures will look like.(Talk about your picture in picture!) Some of the colors may appear different than they do on the actual figure. From what we have heard Ratchet is a brighter neon green. We are still in the process of getting images of the loose figures so please stay tuned for that.

So far we know that the following characters will be included:

Series 3 E 80051 Bumblebee
Series 3 A 80051 Ratchet
Series 3 B 80051 Slug
Series 3 C 80051 Phantom Strike Lockdown
Series 3 J 80051 Sky Rage Starscream
Series 3 F 80051 Evac
Series 3 I 80051 Silver Knight Optimus Prime
Series 3 N 80051 Drift
Series 3 P 80051 Barricade
Series 3 D 80051 Sentinel Prime
Series 3 H 80051 Ironhide
Series 3 G 80051 Dino

If you want a specific character make a note of the letter. Each pack will have a letter embossed somewhere on the back. The letter indicates which figure is inside the pack. For example if you want Bumblebee, look for an E on the back of the pack. Like in previous sets there may also be a small clear window to double check but that may not always work in poor lighting or where figures have similar colors. Happy Hunting!

I suppose so.

I'm gonna get that TT Ratchet if it looks good in hand. I am also tempted to get Sentinel. Too bad there is no TT Wheeljack but Wheeljack looks kinda terrifying in the movies so I am not going to complain about not getting one. Also that Lockdown appears to be clear plastic which I am interested to see.

Again I was informed that the colors on the box will look slightly different from the ones on the actual toys. If Ratchet is brighter green then I think that Skyrage Starscream will be more red. He looks pink on the box but I doubt hasbro would actually make him pink. Though "Dino" and Sentinel both look to be red already.

These might also be fun to paint due to their lack or paint apps. Of course they are small figures so I'm not holding that against Hasbro. These are meant to be fun, not super detailed toys. The previous sets sold for about 2.99 IIRC in my area at least.

Transformers Tiny Titans Series 3 Robot Mode Images

In the previous article we showed you some images of what the packaging for this series looks like. We now have some better, up close product images of all of the Transformers characters that are included in this series. (Colors may appear brighter on the actual figures.) This way you will know which figures are available in this blind bag set. Have a look at some shots of what their robot modes will look like. If you see a specific character that you want from these blind bags please refer to this article for the embossed letter code to tell who is in which pack.

Good luck on getting your favorites!

In-Hand Images of Transformers Tiny Turbo Changers Series 3

Updating our stories about the latest wave of Transformers: The Last Knight Tiny Turbo Changers, which had yet to be seen anywhere at retail or in photography, we have a whole slew of in-hand images of the wee critters below!

We've also re-included the package codes for each figure if you're only after select characters, and Seibertron notes the following for those interested:

Bumblebee is the same as previous releases, based off his Age of Extinction appearance. The red figures are all the exact shade of red. The blue figures are all different shades. Barricade is his Transformers (2007) version and is my personal favorite from this wave, though Ironhide is a really, really close 2nd. Speaking of which, Ironhide shares transformation with Grimlock. Drift is AOE blue versus previous red The Last Knight version. Silver Knight Optimus Prime is obviously recolor of previous version. Ratchet is an obnoxious yellowish neon green color, very different from digital product images. Phantom Strike Lockdown is the same, just translucent. Sky Rage Starscream is a red recolor of previous Starscream figures. Dino is a red recolor of Series 2 Hot Rod.

Series 3 E 80051 Bumblebee
Series 3 A 80051 Ratchet
Series 3 B 80051 Slug
Series 3 C 80051 Phantom Strike Lockdown
Series 3 J 80051 Sky Rage Starscream
Series 3 F 80051 Evac
Series 3 I 80051 Silver Knight Optimus Prime
Series 3 N 80051 Drift
Series 3 P 80051 Barricade
Series 3 D 80051 Sentinel Prime
Series 3 H 80051 Ironhide
Series 3 G 80051 Dino
