So after I put Gen. Metroplex and LG Grand Max side by side I noticed that the latter's crotch is backwards compared to the other. I don't own a TR/LG Fort Max but my friend confirmed the same for his Fort Max. Is it a misassembly or are the crotches meant to be reversed for the Max bros? Anyone tried putting the crotches the other way, and does it affect transformation?

I'm pretty sue it was an intentional re-use of the same parts in a different way, similar to mofinh the runways from the legs on Metroplex to the shoulders on Fort Max. I don't believe it would affect transformation if you wanted to switch the crotch piece around. The legs on each can bend a full 90 degrees forward or backward.

Unfortunately, if you take Max's diaper off and switch it around to look more like Metroplex's, it will scrape along the bottom of both alt-modes. But, it improves the look of the robot.
